Losing a family member can be tough, especially when it comes to holidays, birthdays, and other special moments that are designed to honor these people in your life. Best known for his role as Danny Tanner on Full House and its sequel series Fuller House, hosting America's Funniest Home Videos, as well as his work as a stand-up comedian, Bob was always making us laugh. Of course, this warmth and humor extended to his family, as shared by his daughter, Lara, on Instagram this past Sunday.

"My dad wasn’t just my dad, he was my best friend," Lara wrote alongside a picture of her and her father.

"He wore his heart. He didn’t hide it; he wasn’t afraid of love. My dad simply wanted to share laughter and love with this world. I have noticed how scary it can be to love that big, to open so fully," she shared.

"It can be easier to be angry, fearful, negative."

"Maybe because love has an infinite quality, it is boundless. My dad taught me that it doesn’t matter what life throws, how hard, how painful, how seemingly impossible. It doesn’t stop that love. He chose love, always," she continued.

"I commit to doing the same."

"The love is right here. And it’s my responsibility to give it to myself and to share by living in the love. I love you infinitely, dad. Happy Father’s Day," she finished the post.

The comments were filled with messages of love and support, including one from Bob's co-star and TV daughter, Jodie Sweetin, who wrote, "Beautiful, Lara. Sending you lots of love today."
