So she was the one who had to take the responsibility of informing his mistress that he had died.

In the video, she shared a screenshot from the conversation with the mistress.

Needless to say, it's quite difficult to read.

After informing the mistress of her husband's death, the mistress texted Davis that she was losing it. She then asked if she can go to where Davis' husband is buried. Davis replied "no."

After sharing the video, many people were saying that Davis was in the wrong for how she was speaking with the mistress.

Many people on TikTok said that Davis was in the wrong for not allowing her to grieve properly. Needless to say, Davis and her two children had a loss, but they weren't the only ones.

Whether she wanted to admit it or not, the mistress, technically, also suffered a loss.

So because of that fact, some believed that despite the wrongdoing in concerns of the affair, heartache is heartache and grief is grief.

Others asked the million-dollar question.

Others on TikTok were curious to know if the mistress was totally blind and oblivious that the husband was married at all. Sometimes, in affairs, the "other woman" has no idea that the guy is married at all. If so, some said she "wasn't to blame.

Davis shared a screenshot of a conversation with the mistress, revealing she did know.

Responding to comments, Davis revealed that the mistress did indeed know that her husband was married with two kids. The mistress shared she knew, and either way, that her husband "needed support" and she was there for him.

Davis decided to share a 6-part story of her husband's untimely death so others can understand why she felt this way.

Davis shared that her husband suffered from bipolar disorder and had rough several years. The two had been with each other for over a decade.

But unfortunately, he had progressively gotten worse mentally and needed professional help.

But not only did her husband refuse to get any kind of help, he had also been cheating on her repeatedly. Davis had even caught him doing so.

Her husband refused to get help.

Every time the two had gotten into a confrontation, her husband would threaten suicide. Eventually, her husband fleed to Mexico, revealed he had spent all of their money, and gotten into crazy amounts of trouble.

When he returned home, Davis didn't want him around their two children regularly until he got help.

Her husband ended up living with his parents in their cabin an hour and 45 minutes away. Although they were still married, Davis said she wanted to protect her children until her husband got help.

Eventually, he got worse—leading to him, unfortunately, taking his own life.

Davis said that it was hard to watch the man she loves deteriorate right in front of her eyes over time.

I truly can't imagine having to go through that kind of pain.

Despite not wanting to harm her two daughters, she thought it was important to bring awareness to bipolar disorder.

While she didn't want to paint a bad image of her daughter's father in their minds, she felt sharing the story of her husband was very important.

This included not only his mental health struggles but also his affair.

She was hoping that telling the story could provide some kind of comfort to others who might be going through a similar situation.

In the end, many women online applauded her for her strength and her courage.

However, some people did think she was in the wrong.

Specifically for cutting the mistress out: people felt she had not given her room to grieve

But for the most part, after sharing her story, many realized that Davis was a warrior woman who was doing the best she can in a heartbreaking situation.
