The world is watching as Russia inches more and more into Ukrainian territory. Many celebrities have spoken out about the conflict. Now, Ukrainian-born actress Mila Kunis is speaking out nearly a week after her husband, Ashton Kutcher, made a powerful tweet standing with the people of Ukraine.

Now, Mila is breaking her silence on the invasion and offering a generous donation.

On Thursday, Hollywood power couple Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher launched a GoFundMe to raise money for the relief efforts in Ukraine.

Mila, who was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, filmed a short video alongside Ashton where she spoke publicly for the first time about the "devastating" conflict in her native country.

"I was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine in 1983. I came to America in 1991," Mila said.

"I've always considered myself an American. A proud American. I love everything this country has done for myself and my family."

"But, today, I have never been more proud to be a Ukrainian."

Ashton sweetly chimed in that he had never been more proud to be married to a Ukrainian, which made my heart totally melt.

"The events that have unfolded in Ukraine are devastating," Mila continued.

"There is no place in this world for this kind of unjust attack on humanity."

Ashton went on to applaud the 'bravery of the people of the country that [Mila] was born in."

He then emphasized the importance of paying witness to "the needs of those who have chosen safety."

"We're raising funds to support a relief effort that will have an immediate impact and supply much-needed refugee and humanitarian aid to the area," he explained.

"The principal challenge right now is logistics," the actor continued. "We need to get housing and we need to get supplies and resources into the area.

Mila then revealed that the charities they have chosen to support are Airbnb.org and Flexport.org.

Flexport, a freight transporter, is helping to organize shipments of relief supplies to refugee sites in Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, and Moldova.

Airbnb is providing free, short-term housing to those fleeing Ukraine.

"The people of Ukraine are strong and brave but being strong and brave doesn't mean you're not worthy of support.

We need to support the people of Ukraine," she concluded.

The Instagram caption highlighted the aforementioned charities and concluded with a powerful statement: "Standing with Ukraine means supporting Ukrainians."
