Have you ever been to a museum that pretty much blew your socks off? Whether it was the Mona Lisa or some other precious work of art or an exhibit that was truly extraordinary.
I’m sure many of us have seen our share of amazing things. However, if you haven’t, don’t worry because these mind-blowing exhibits will surely amaze you.

How can a museum be more inclusive to those who are visually impaired?
The Uffizi Gallery in Florence ensures that everyone has access to art. They created 3D versions of paintings so that visually-impaired visitors can still enjoy it too. I think that’s so wonderful.
Many museums had to shut their doors down due to the pandemic.
However, that didn’t stop this one in Finland from making sure people can still see the art. They rearranged the exhibition so you can see it from the outside, day or night. Wow!

Check out this reconstruction of Ishtar Gate, the eighth gate to the inner city of Babylon in 575 BC.
You can now see it on display at Pergamon Museum in Berlin. Apparently, this is pretty massive and quite remarkable to see in person.
Somebody “exploded” this Ford Model T at The Henry Ford Museum of Innovation.
How awesome is it to see all the parts displayed like that, huh? I find this so fascinating. I wish all exhibits attempted to do that, ha, ha.
Speaking of The Henry Ford Museum, how do you like this gem?
Do you know what it is? It’s the actual bus that Rosa Parks protested on. Wow, that’s one piece of history I didn’t know still existed but that everyone needs to see.
This unique exhibit is called Intersections and it’s by the artist Anila Quayyum Agha.
It’s an immersive single-room installation that bathes the visitor in a geometric array of light and shadow. What a cool thing to see, huh? I would be so mesmerized standing in this room, alright.
I have to admit I’ve never been good at knitting or crochet, for that matter.
I don’t know if it’s patience I lack or the skill itself. So whoever made this knitted glass piece is a genius in my book. I mean, how do you do that?
I can’t say that I have ever seen a double-sided statue before.
You can see this two-sided 19th century statue of Mephistopheles and Margaretta at the Salar Jung Museum in India. It’s made out of a single log of sycamore wood.
Have you ever wondered what the moon would look like if you were able to see it up close?
Well, now you can finally do so when you visit this Natural History Museum in London, U.K. Isn’t that so fascinating to see or what?
We all know what dinosaurs supposed to look like, right?
But what if you could see an actual mummified fossil? Wouldn’t that be cool? This exhibit in Canada lets you take a peek at exactly that. OMG, I thought it was a dragon, ha, ha!

Someone spotted this sign at a snake exhibit. If you’re confused, in the Harry Potter series, Harry has the ability to speak to snakes and it leads to him accidentally unleashing one on his cousin at a zoo. It’s a pretty clever reference!
This one made me chuckle.
At a museum dedicated to musical instruments, they decided to include an air guitar in the exhibit. I know it looks like an empty case, but it’s an air guitar — trust me.
