I host a lot of craft workshops, and while everyone is technically making the same thing, I love seeing the creativity that shines when a group of strangers get together to make a craft.
These DIYs should definitely get you excited about making something pretty, because they’re pretty darn inspiring! We can’t wait to see what creative things you come up with after seeing this fun list.
1. I’m going to be moving just before Christmas, so I’m excited to pull out my decorations and get ready to decorate my new place!

I feel like I could find something like this at the dollar store and make something awesome with it like Shrimp Salad Circus did.
It’s super easy to add one of these reindeer to a plaque and hang it on the wall.

I’m really into simple and modern holiday decorations right now, and this definitely fits into that category! Who wants to make some of these with me?
I think it’d look really cute with a dinosaur in a Santa hat, too.
2. I’m really into non-traditional holiday decor, like I mentioned above.

So, whenever I see some sort of pumpkin decor that isn’t actually a pumpkin, I get really excited about it.
I think it’s really cool that Confessions Of A Serial DIYer used fabric to make her pumpkins!
You don’t have to worry about rotting vegetables, and they last so much longer.

And if you ask me, these fabric pumpkins are wayyyy cuter than traditional pumpkins. I’ll definitely be looking into creating something like these this fall!
3. Miniature anything is super cute in my books!

And embroidery is definitely making a comeback and having its time in the spotlight! These mini florals from Flamingo Toes are adorable.
I would 100% wear one of these mini embroidery necklaces in a heartbeat.

I love the mini versions because they look cute, and I don’t have to do as much work to make them look that way!
4. My friends, if you are not familiar with dishwasher safe decoupage glue, then you have not lived.

It is a staple in any craft room, if you ask me! That’s how you can create pretty confetti bowls like this and still wash them.
Tell Love And Party used tissue paper to punch out confetti of different sizes, then used the decoupage glue to seal them to the bowls.

Seriously, how can you not want to stock up on that stuff when you see this?!
5. I love having a cork board in my office, but they aren’t exactly the cutest things in the world.

Francois Et Moi realized that they could turn one into something that matches their style with some fabric and a staple gun.
Now the board fits in with the rest of the decor at the office!

The room is styled so well, and the items on the board itself look pretty stunning, too.
6. I honestly would never in a million years think to use a mouse trap in a DIY project.

There are a reason mice are scared of them, and I am too!
But, by cutting off the mechanism that traps the mice and giving it a coat of paint, they’re actually kind of useful.
The Glitzy Pear used the painted traps to hold prints on a board!

Using this method, there are actually a lot of really cool opportunities for cute projects using the mouse traps.
7. As soon as I saw this next DIY, I decided it needed to be in my life ASAP.

I’m a huge fan of dying clothes to turn them into costumes or to make them more fun!
The Crafted Life used fabric dye to create this paint chip costume, and I am literally obsessed.

I would wear this costume for Halloween, or even out and about on a regular day. Seriously, this needs to be mine.
8. Speaking of Halloween, this next DIY is great for trick-or-treating, but it’s actually super cute for everyday use.

My mom always just handed me a pillowcase to trick-or-treat with, but this is much cuter.
I absolutely love the abstract design that Sarah Hearts created on these plain white tote bags.

You would be the raddest kid in town if you were sporting these bags on Halloween night, or any night, tbh.
9. With Halloween and Christmas just around the corner, let’s not forget about another rad holiday, Thanksgiving!

Honestly, this pretty DIY from Homey Oh My could be used any time of the year.
I mean, giving thanks isn’t just important at Thanksgiving, right?!

Plus, you could use this DIY as inspiration for your favorite seasonal quote! I can think of quite a few that would look cute like this.
10. You guys love a good paper-punched DIY, so I’ve found a fun one to try!

Purely Katie wanted to give an everyday household item a bit of an upgrade with these pretty papers.
Using an epoxy sticker, she created these luxe looking paper clips that are almost too pretty to use.

Plus, that plate she’s displaying them on is total decor goals. Katie, can you come decorate my house, please?!
