1. Taylor Swift and Harry Styles had similar ideas for their music videos:

Ever since their high-profile relationship crashed and burned, we didn’t think we’d see these two in the same sentence again.
But they do have a lot of creative things in common.
Both released a music video this year that featured a grand piano overflowing with water.

For Taylor, this was her music video for “Cardigan,” and for Harry, it was for “Falling.”

2. The “hot sauce” in Beyoncé’s “Formation” video was actually a bat:

When the singer released “Formation,” we all sang along to her lyrics about having hot sauce in her bag because, well, it’s Queen Bey.
Maybe she really likes hot sauce?
But the real meaning was revealed when she released the music video for ‘Hold Up’ two months later.

In it, we saw that the bat she was swinging around was named Hot Sauce.
In other words, don’t mess with Bey.
3. Childish Gambino’s “Feels Like Summer” video featured many hip-hop artists:

This included Travis Scott and Nicki Minaj, who feuded back in 2018. Nicki had been upset that Scott’s ex, Kylie Jenner, helped his album outsell hers.
In the video, Scott tore down Minaj’s tower of blocks, which was likely a reference to their feud.
4. Norman Reedus was in a Lady Gaga music video:

The Walking Dead actor got to be in Lady Gaga’s music video for “Judas” — no audition needed.
“She asked if I wanted to do the video so I said, ‘yeah, that should be fun!’” he told Rolling Stone .
5. Demi Lovato made a reference to her *Camp Rock* days in “I Love Me”:
It’s the movie that kickstarted her career, so of course, she had to include it in her self-love anthem.
To make the reference complete, she hired a lookalike of herself and the Jonas Brothers.
6. Channing Tatum was in a Ricky Martin video:

When the actor was 20, he appeared as a t*****s bartender for the “She Bangs” Ricky Martin video.
You’ll only see him for a second, even though he spent five days filming. He also only earned $400.
7. Taylor Swift referenced *The Wolf of Wall Street* in “The Man”:
It makes sense that fans missed this. They were too busy trying to figure out if that was actually Taylor disguised as a man in the video.
She just looked and acted so different!
But it was Taylor in the video who, at one point, impersonated Leonardo DiCaprio’s portrayal of Jordan Belfort.
It was a fitting reference since she wanted to show a powerful man who can do no wrong.
8. The apartment door in Blink-182’s video for “Always”:

Blink and you might miss it! (Get it?)
This hidden detail was shown at the end of the video. If you look to the left, you’ll see that it says “182.”
9. The meaning behind wolves in Selena Gomez’s “Wolves” video:
She shared this on social media ahead of the video’s release: “I’ve been running through the jungle, I’ve been crying with the wolves.”
Fans dug a little deeper and found out that the scientific name for wolves in “canine lupus.”
Selena has always been open about her battle with the illness.
She even had to undergo a kidney transplant to help her with health struggles.
To add to this theory, she used blue imagery that gives off a real wolf vibe.
10. Courteney C*x was in a Bruce Springsteen video:

Before she was Monica Gellar on Friends , C*x was an adoring fan in a Bruce Springsteen music video.
This was for the 1984 song, “Dancing in the Dark.” She even got to go up on stage with Bruce and dance!
11. The kitten in Taylor Swift’s “Me” video:
As a crazy cat lady, Taylor was immediately enamored with the kitten that was in her video.
So, of course, she adopted him. But fans wouldn’t know that until she released the behind-the-scenes clip.
12. The Christmas tree in Taylor Swift’s “Me” video:
This was a reference to the fact that Taylor grew up on a Christmas tree farm.
She even released the song “Chrismas Tree Farm,” just in time for the holidays.
13. Melissa Joan Hart and Adrian Grenier were in a Britney Spears video:

They were both actors on very successful shows, but their biggest claim to fame is definitely starring in the music video for “You Drive Me Crazy.”
Hart played a waitress and Grenier a bartender.

Ariana has gotten a lot of flack for her signature ponytail, but Lady Gaga loves it!
