While celebrity families might not be just like ours in all ways, they are similar in how they sometimes get along and sometimes don’t.
Seeing celebrities get along with their families can be endearing, but there’s also something interesting about seeing their drama play out. And, since they are famous, their feuds are known by people across the world.

1. The Jonas Brothers.
Fans were surprised and upset when these three split up their band in 2013, but the reason they did so was to keep their family together.
In various interviews since, the brothers have revealed that the stress of being in a band together was ruining their relationship.
The hiatus clearly worked, however, as they have since had a comeback.
And thank goodness for that. I’ve always had a soft spot for the Jonas Brothers and I, for one, am thrilled that they’ve managed to patch things up.
2. Justin Bieber and his mother.
Back in 2015, Bieber said in an interview with Billboard that he and his mother, Pattie Mallette, had a somewhat rocky relationship at times.
The singer eventually admitted that their then-relationship was practically non-existent.
The Biebs said that things like getting arrested and his other scandals were what created the distance between them.
Thankfully, Justin and his mother have done their best to mend fences. Justin has grown up a lot and mother and son appear to be much happier.
3. Tori and Candy Spelling.
These two are another parent and child pair that had a very public and notorious feud that seemed to go on forever.
The issue began after Tori’s father, Aaron Spelling, passed away and Tori inherited his money.
They spent years accusing each other of various things, but they are reported to have a more cordial relationship now.
Let this be a warning sign of the dangers of money and power. It has the ability to turn even the closest family members against one another.
4. Ariel Winter and her mother.
Ariel Winter filed a restraining order in 2012 against her mother, Crystal Workman. She alleged her mother had abused her both physically and emotionally.
Winter eventually became legally emancipated from her mom before she turned 18, and she has stated they have no relationship.
5. Lindsay, Dina, and Michael Lohan,
This is a very messy and complicated family drama that’s been ongoing for years.
Lohan said in an interview with John Bishop: In Conversation With… that her relationship with her dad was like “Jekyll and Hyde.”
Dina has also filed lawsuits against Michael alleging that he abused her.
Overall, it’s an incredibly sad story. If nothing else, it certainly makes you empathize with Lindsay a little bit more.
It couldn’t have been easy growing up like that.
6. Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé Kardashian.
There have been so many very public and very vocal feuds in the Kardashian family between various members.
One of the most notable happened on Keeping Up With the Kardashians between these three sisters.
The drama even led to a physical fight between Kim and Kourtney.

Julia Roberts is one of the most successful actresses in Hollywood, but she didn’t always get along with her brother, Eric.
While they were close in the ’90s, his substance abuse issues created a rift, and they didn’t speak for years. Luckily, they have since resolved their issues.
8. Jay-Z/Beyoncé and Solange.
It’s hard to forget about that time that Solange attacked Jay-Z in the elevator at a Met Gala party in 2014.
While this dramatic moment became news worldwide, Jay-Z has since said that it was a rare disagreement.

After seeing the consequences of what could happen when you don’t get along with Solange firsthand, I can understand why HOV would be eager to toe the line.

Fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey know that this feud between the two sisters-in-law was intense, dramatic, and sometimes violent.
The feud played out on television screens and provided a lot of the conflict for the series. It’s hard to count how many times they talked badly about one another.
Their husbands, Joe Gorga and Joe Giudice, also had a feud.
This family feud was convoluted and sometimes ridiculous, and it clearly impacted their children’s lives, too.
One of the most over-the-top moments was when the two men got into a literal brawl at a christening for Joe and Melissa Gorga’s son.

This father and daughter pair have had a tumultuous relationship over the years.
At one point, Jolie removed ” Voight ” from her last name. John responded by accusing his daughter of having some mental health problems.
Thankfully, it appears that this estranged father-daughter duo is getting along much better these days.
Jolie has said Voight was there for her after her divorce from Brad Pitt and that he’s a terrific grandfather.

This is more of a rivalry than a feud, but the competition between these two amazing tennis players is definitely interesting to fans.

After Caitlyn transitioned, the Kardashian women were supportive of her at the time, but things weren’t really that simple.

Things got messier when Caitlyn published her autobiography and said that Robert Kardashian, the women’s father, was a bad person.

The world at large was first introduced to Eminem and his mother, Debbie Mathers, through the song “My Name Is.”

Kate and Oliver are the children of Goldie Hawn but their father isn’t Kurt Russell. Their biological father is a former musician named Bill Hudson .
Over the years, Kate and Oliver have made their disdain for their father known.
Back in 2015, Oliver made an Instagram post captioned “Happy Abandonment Day.”
This led their father to publicly disown both Kate and Oliver. Bill declared that he considered himself to be a father of three, instead of five.
He also requested that both Kate and Oliver change their last name.
15. Frances Bean Cobain filed a restraining order against her own mother, Courtney Love.
Frances is the daughter of Courtney and the late/legendary grunge rock innovator, Kurt Cobain.
Since the time Frances was a young girl, Courtney was in and out of rehab .
When she was in her mid-teens, Frances alleged that Courtney caused the death of two family pets.
Frances also testified that both she and her mother had got into a physical fight as a result.
The judge granted her request and ordered Courtney to stay away from her daughter.

Adele’s father left her and her mother when the singer was only three years old. During her acceptance speech at the 2017 Grammys, Adele said that she considered her manager to be her father.

Aaron’s struggles with mental health have been well documented in the media.
