The president’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., seems to have a few words to the Biden household after news of the former president being diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer broke out.
Don Jr. made the comment right away
Just hours after Biden’s office announced on Sunday, May 18, that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer, Donald Trump Jr. took to social media to comment on the news.

He took a jab at Biden’s wife
Donald Trump Jr. implied that those closest to the 82-year-old either overlooked his illness or knew of it but hid the news from the public.
He wrote on X, “What I want to know is how did Dr. Jill Biden miss stage five metastatic cancer or is this yet another coverup???”
One user made further speculation
After he made the tweet about Dr Jill Biden, whose doctorate degree is in education, one user replied to his post saying, “This is an effort to push the fact Joe was running the country as a vegetable under the rug,” to which Don Jr. replied, “Without question.”
Biden is suffering stage 4 cancer
While Don Jr. stated that Biden’s cancer is stage 5, this is incorrect.
The former president’s office has said he’s currently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, which, according to The New York Times, has spread to his bones.
Don Jr. doubled down on his conspiracy
On Monday, May 19, a day after the news was announced, Don Jr. went on to double down on his conspiracy, writing on X a longer message criticizing Biden’s mental capabilities.
He wrote a long post about it
Don Jr. wrote, “Joe says he had cancer 2 years ago & everyone said it’s a gaffe. When he clearly had dementia, everyone said he’s lucid. Now that he’s no longer useful they’re all shocked that they missed it.”
“Everyone was in on the cover-up! Who was running the country? We need accountability!”
Don Jr. ultimately wished him well
After speculating that the whole thing was somehow a cover-up, Donald Trump Jr. seemed to have ultimately sent well wishes to Biden and his family.
He reposted a message on X that read, “Joe Biden has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Politics aside, we wish him a speedy recovery!” and wrote above it, “Agreed 100%.”
The president has also wished Biden well
Following the news, President Donald Trump, Don Jr.’s father, wrote a message expressing sympathies toward the Biden family.
On Truth Social, he wrote, “Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis. We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery.”
