Some people go viral for their excessive use of beauty filters. Others do for their natural glow. It was the latter for one woman named Michele Manteaw, who caught the attention of Reddit with her unfiltered yet flawless photos.
Posting to the r/MakeupAddiction community, Manteaw shared a couple of selfies to show off her “ Glowy Winter Makeup on Dark Skin .” In the two closeup pics, she looked absolutely radiant with her expertly done makeup, striking the perfect balance between natural and glam.
The post quickly picked up steam, getting over 18 thousand upvotes and 330 comments, many of which complimented not only her makeup but her flawless complexion, too. And before anyone says “filter,” know that Manteaw has a YouTube channel where her beauty videos prove she does have naturally gorgeous skin.

A Breakdown Of Her Makeup And Skincare Routine

Many commenters gushed over her glowy makeup and asked for a breakdown of all the products she used. Manteaw then shared a long list of beauty items, which included brands like Becca, Lancome, Benefit, NARS, Maybelline, Makeup Revolution, Makeup Geek, Ben Nye, Juvia’s Place, L’Oréal, Collection, Pixi, MAC, Fenty, and Essence. This surprised some users who said she actually looked like she wasn’t wearing any makeup and that her skin seemed naturally flawless.
Because she had such a beautiful complexion, many wanted to know her skincare regimen, too. Manteaw explained that she had both morning and night routines and used a range of products depending on what she needed at any given time.
She highlighted the most important parts such as moisturizing, cleansing her skin with a FOREO and a “gentle but clarifying face wash,” using K-Beauty sheet masks twice a week, and keeping hydrated (“as cliché as it may sound, but I honestly drink loads,” she wrote).
She also emphasized that taking care of her skin wasn’t just about applying beauty products. She was mindful about what she ate as well, noting that she tried to avoid as much dairy as possible. It “REALLY helped with the overall texture and frequency of break outs. life. changing,” she wrote.
As previously mentioned, Manteaw’s post gathered a ton of adoring comments. Read some of them below.
