If you’ve ever been mugged , you know how horrible of an experience that can be. I have to admit it has happened to me more than once. And each time, it was very heartbreaking.
Not only was my wallet taken, but also all the money in it. However, I have recently found a clever way to fool the robbers, and you absolutely have to see it.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

After I was robbed on a few occasions, I have been thinking of ways to prevent it from happening again. So when I stumbled upon this idea, it definitely got my attention.
Well, if a would-be robber really wants to take something from you — they probably will.

But there’s a smart way you can prevent them from getting your wallet. How’s that? Let me tell you. This idea is pretty genius if you asked me.
A woman shared her story on Twitter, and it goes something like this.
During a robbery, the thief asked for her wallet, but when she couldn’t easily find it, he ended up grabbing her whole purse. That’s not good, right?
But the story gets better.

This lady was later walking along when she noticed something on the ground. It looked like a folded-up juice carton. As it turns out, it was her wallet, ha, ha. The thief simply threw it away thinking it was trash.
Here’s where it really gets good.
What the thief didn’t realize was that this juice carton was her wallet. Aha! Do you see where this is going? This clever lady made a wallet out of the juice carton, and you can do it, too, using a tutorial from Brokelyn.
You only need a few simple supplies to make it yourself.

They are:
1/2 gallon carton
A wallet template
Heavy-duty scissors
Scotch tape
An X-ACTO knife or snap blade
A permanent marker
Sounds simple enough, huh?
Now, on to the steps.
Print your template and cut it out. Lay your carton flat and tape the template onto your carton. Cut around the template with your heavy-duty scissors. Next, cut out the top hole with your blade. Then, put it together by following the template and folding along the necessary lines.
Once you have your wallet assembled, it pretty much looks like this.
Isn’t it absolutely genius? Nobody would ever think this was an actual wallet and will most likely throw it away. If you search the nearby area, chances are you might find it, too.
Or you can also carry a dummy wallet and keep like $5 in it.
Then you can easily give it away and walk away with your real wallet in your purse. What do you think of that idea, huh?
I just came up with it, hee-hee. I’m totally going to do this. I’m not getting robbed ever again. Heck no!
