Living with any kind of pet is a lot of work. From the biggest dogs to the tiniest fish, you’ll be spending a lot of time taking care of and loving your furry (or scaly or feathered) friend. And that goes for owning a bird, too.
For one pet owner, having a single bird friend wasn’t enough. So now, she takes care of two. The pair of birds get along a little too well, though, and tend to get in a lot of trouble when their owner isn’t looking.

Meet Anne and Her Two Parrots, Vonnegut and Schiele
Anne is an artist who hails from Australia and lives with her two Indian Ringneck Parrots, 13-year-old Vonnegut, and 6-year-old Schiele. She initially only had Vonnegut before deciding to add baby Schiele to the family. The three appear in a video uploaded by The Dodo last week.
Anne has noticed that Vonnegut’s personality has changed a bit in the years since she’s owned both birds. Along with his sister, he gets into much more trouble than he used to.
Throughout the video, Anne shows what it’s like to live with her parrots. As a bird owner, she always needs to pay attention to where they are and what they’re doing, or else they end up getting into trouble. In various clips, we see Vonnegut and Schiele make mischief, including raiding the pantry, crawling into the washing machine, and stealing a roll of toilet paper.
