One TikTok user recently shared the heartbreaking experience she went through when uncovering things about her fiancé.
TikTok user Maria, who uses her TikTok account @ lifebymaria to share content, recently shared a video in which she revealed she had uncovered a terrible secret about her fiancé in a hidden folder on his computer. It turns out, he had photos of many different women, including her sisters and even co-workers.
The couple was only three months out from their wedding.
Maria shared that invitations were already sent out, plans were already set, and people were even RSVPing to come to their wedding. However, she made this discovery and knew there was no turning back for her—she could not marry this man.
The TikTok user told him to “get help.”
Seeing that her fiancé had been taking photos and had so many saved on his computer of so many women, she told him he needed to “seek help” and get better. She told him if not, he would be a registered sex offender eventually. He said that “he knew.”
Many people were curious about the situation and asked Maria how she found the folder in the first place.
“He was helping me apply for a job bc my computer wasn’t working, he downloaded my resume to his work computer and went to his folder files to look,” she replied to a commenter .

Another TikTok user shared that she recently uncovered text messages from an escort on her fiancé’s Apple Watch. The couple was also set to be married in a matter of weeks, and now she has, also, broken off their engagement.
Some on TikTok said Maria has a “guardian angel” looking out for her.
Many commenters said Maria is “so lucky” she found out what she did when she did, because if not she would have been married to him and had absolutely no idea that he was doing this kind of thing. He could have easily continued doing it, as well.
Maria also shared some positivity about her growth.
She said that things that “take away the sadness” are knowing that she is younger than her ex, she has seen way more of the world than he ever has, too. She also said that being an immigrant, she has an identity and a country she holds so near and dear to her heart.
She also warned other women to look out for “red flags.”
Maria shared a laundry list of red flags that she saw in her own relationship that she thinks other women should look out for. Hiding problems, manipulating situations, having extreme jealousy, and lying about things are always reasons to be concerned and worry.
Overall, Maria said she is “healing.”
In many other videos, Maria is sharing that she is “healing” from this hard experience and although she knows she made the right choice, it is still hard to face the truth. Many offered their support and also said that she will “get through this” hard time.
While you may think you know someone, you never really know what’s around the corner.
