One wrong text led to raised a ton of money for a young boy battling Leukemia.
Wrong Number

The story starts when a young woman named Syd took three photos of herself trying on a dress and accidentally texted them to a complete stranger.
A Fun Response

Instead of just letting her know it was the wrong number, the person on the other end decided to have some fun. He told Syd it was the wrong number, but also the his kids think she looks great in it and should definitely buy the dress.
Thumbs Up

The man on the other end of the text was a guy named Tony from Tennessee who has six children. He included in his text back a picture of five of the kids showing their approval of the dress.
Chemo
Syd’s friend posted the entire exchange to Twitter and it quickly went viral. Tony ended up seeing the tweet and responded. He said that his second youngest wasn’t in the photo because he was at the chemotherapy clinic.
GoFundMe
Another person responded with a link to his son Kaizler’s GoFunMe page. That tweet ended up going viral, as well, and the money started flooding in for Tony’s son’s treatments.
Tons of Donations

Tony and family were amazed :
“Since this all started we’ve had over $3,000 donated,” Tony explained. “That’s more than we had donated in total over the last 2 years. It’s been amazing and is a bigger blessing than anyone could ever know. We were backed up to a financial wall. I’ve been working the entire time, but I was slowly but surely succumbing to the financial rigors of the situation.”
Over $60,000

This story actually happened last March. Since then, the GoFundMe total has skyrocketed to $62,020. The family is now using the page to raise money for another boy in their community who is battling cancer.
So Refreshing
Tony’s wife Rachel is also blown away by everything that happened as a result from one wrong text:
“It is so refreshing to be reminded that there are good people in the world who still care about others and are quick to be generous and kind to others.”
Kaizler
Kaizler did eventually make an appearance in one of Tony’s photos. Here he is giving a big thumbs up to thank people for their kindness.
TV Appearance
The story hit the viral threshold and ended up landing the entire family and Mandi on television with Pickler & Ben .
End Of Chemo

The most recent updates with Prayers for Kaizler on Facebook and the Wood family sees some of the family dealing with sickness and the flu, Kaizler marking the end of chemo treatments, and just some nice family moments.
Won’t Stop Fighting

And despite some hiccups thanks to the family getting sick and flu season, the family has shown that they’re not about to give up.
Happy Family

And no matter what, it seems they’re going to continue to push being a happy family together.
Happy Moments
It’s a good story to follow and one that should inspire people to enjoy the little things and soak up the good moments in life. They can come in handy when you have a battle against darkness.
