Both the father and attorney of Virginia Giuffre—who accused Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew of sexual abuse—are calling for a police investigation after family members said she died by suicide.
Victoria’s family first said she died by suicide
Just three days after Virginia’s family said the 41-year-old had taken her own life at her home in Australia, her dad, Sky Roberts, came out asking for the cops to look more into it. This is the same Virginia who had said Epstein trafficked her to Prince Andrew back when she was still a teenager.
Her father said she showed no suicidal signs whatsoever
Roberts pointed to the things Virginia posted online before, saying she never talked about wanting to end her life. He told TMZ on April 28 that the police should dig a bit deeper.
Her attorney’s also not buying it 100%
She said she’s got “big question marks” about the whole thing, saying that nothing made sense.
“When I got the phone call, I was like, ‘Are you joking?’” Karrie Louden told The Sun in an interview on April 28. “Because there was no sign that that was something she was considering.”
Louden confirmed that Virginia was in pain lately

But apparently she also had stuff she was excited about. She was still thinking about the future.
The lawyer added something else too: “There’s suicide and then there’s misadventure.”
She died in rural Western Australia

Virginia passed away in Neergabby, which is a small farming town in Western Australia, according to what her family told NBC News on April 25.
Her family says the trauma became unbearable
“She lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking,” the family said. “Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She was the light that lifted so many survivors.”
Then the statement went on to say: “In the end, the toll of abuse is so heavy that it became unbearable for Virginia to handle its weight.”
A few weeks before she died, Virginia had talked about being in a really bad car crash

The doctors told her she didn’t have much time left.
“I’ve gone into kidney renal failure,” she posted on Instagram on March 30. Virginia had three kids with her estranged husband, Robert Giuffre. She added, “I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time, but you know what they say about wishes. S–t in one hand and wish in the other & I guarantee it’s still going to be s–t at the end of the day.”
She was later released from the hospital
But then she did get out of the hospital.
As for the guys she accused…
Epstein died in jail in 2019, apparently by suicide, before his sex trafficking trial even began. And Andrew, who said he didn’t do anything wrong, ended up settling the lawsuit Virginia filed against him in 2022.
