Donald Trump had something to say about the whole White House cocaine situation that happened back in 2023. After the Secret Service basically said they couldn’t figure out who left it, Trump came out with a pretty bold guess.
The cocaine was found in a cubby used by White House visitors
Those cubbies are mainly for visitors. When people come for a tour, they’re told to drop their stuff in there. But the Secret Service pointed out that tons of people actually have access to that spot.
But there was not even security footage to identify a suspect
And since there wasn’t any security footage to go off, they were pretty much stuck with no real clue about who the cocaine belonged to.
The Secret Service closed its investigation without answers
The Secret Service kicked off an investigation in July 2023 after a little bag of cocaine turned up in a cubby near the West Wing entrance on July 2. But in the end, they closed the case without finding a suspect.
Trump got straight to the point when asked about it
Fast forward to today; the current US president reopened the case and had something to say about it.
During an interview with reporter Ben Domenech for The Spectator World, he was straight-up asked about who actually could have actually left the cocaine in the White House.
He directly accused the Bidens of being responsible
Trump didn’t even hesitate. Right away, he threw out a theory, pointing the finger at his predecessor.
“Well, either Joe or Hunter [Biden]. Could be Joe, too,” he said.
But the Bidens weren’t even there when it happened
Worth mentioning—Joe Biden and his family weren’t even at the White House when this all went down. They were at Camp David in Maryland at the time.
Trump then suggested that the evidence was probably wiped clean
He went on: “OK, so that was such a terrible thing because, you know, those bins are very loaded up with… they’re not clean, and they have hundreds and even thousands of fingerprints. And when they went to look at it, it was absolutely stone cold, wiped dry. You know that, right?”
The Secret Service found no usable fingerprints or DNA
Trump insisted, “And there were fingerprints. I mean, if you went to one, maybe we’re cleaner, but if you went to one at any time, you would see hundreds. Everybody in there would leave a fingerprint when they went in, and that thing was wiped out with the strongest form of alcohol.”
The thing is, the Secret Service had already tested the bag for fingerprints and DNA. At the time, they said it went through “advanced fingerprint and DNA analysis,” but the results came back empty—no usable fingerprints and not enough DNA to match anyone.
But Trump wasn’t done
Still, Trump wasn’t letting it go. He told Domenech he was “going to look into” it, adding, “Bad stuff happened there.”
