Stanford Children’s Health explains that clogged ducts can occur in breastfeeding women if “a mother goes too long without emptying her breasts, or if insufficient milk is removed during feedings.”
Though the issue can cause a lot of discomfort, is can normally be eased through breastfeeding or milk pumping.
Unfortunately, Cavallari’s case was not an easy one to solve.
In some circumstances, clogged milk ducts will not unclog on their own.
Kristin’s Cavallari’s pain and discomfort got to the point where she could barely function .
She had tried pretty much every option available to her, and she quickly became desperate for any kind of relief.
Until one day, her husband came up with a solution.

Jay Cutler ended up saving the day, by using a method that none of us expected.
He unclogged her milk ducts by “sucking harder than he’s ever sucked”
Yeah, you read that right.
In the Season 2 teaser, Cavallari recounts the event to friends at a dinner party, who scream of laughter and surprise.
Cavallari says her husband’s forward thinking “saved her life.”
Honestly, that’s some real relationship dedication right there.
Sure, it may be a bit of an unorthodox thing to share with the world, but it’s 2019, and we need to stop automatically branding anything to do with breastfeeding and woman’s health as “gross” or “inappropriate.”
