The Simpsons is one of the most iconic shows on television, and has been for the better part of three decades now.
However, all good things must come to an end eventually, and the same runs true for this classic show.
Whether we like it or not, The Simpsons might be meeting its maker.
The show is now on its 31st season, an achievement that not many other shows can show off!

Only a show with hilarious comedic timing and amazing creativity would be able to pull it off.
But they might be nearing the end of their road.
According to Danny Elfman, composer of ‘The Simpson’s, the show is actually on its way to ending!

“So, you have to realize, when I scored ‘The Simpsons’, I wrote this crazy piece of music, and I expected no-one would hear it, because I really did not think the show had a chance in hell.” he said.
He continued by saying:

“Really, I expected it would run for three episodes and get cancelled, and that would be that, because it was so weird at the time, and I just didn’t think it had a chance. So believe me, that is one of the truly big surprises in my life.”
While FOX has not yet released a comment, it’s not looking good.

“I don’t know for a fact, but I’ve heard that it will be in its last year.” he finished.
