Yes, the iconic tale is being told once again. But this time, it’s going to be executive produced by one of Hollywood’s greatest tough guys.
Will Scrooge be a tough, no-nonsense baddy? Only one way to find out…
Well, October is over. Now you Americans just need to get through Thanksgiving, but for the rest of us…

It’s straight on to Christmas! And there’s no better way to celebrate the holiday than watching a Christmas movie!
And this year, that movie should be the new A Christmas Carol coming out on FX.
Why? Well, because Tom Hardy is going to be in it.

Not only does he play an undisclosed role (ooh, mysterious) but he’s also executive producing.
Steven Knight is also going to write (the guy who wrote Peaky Blinders and Taboo ), which sounds awesome.
Let’s see… who else is in this thing…

Well, we’ve got Guy Pearce as Ebenezer Scrooge, the ghosts are Andy Serkis (Christmas Past) and Jason Flemyng (Christmas Yet To Come).
Then there’s Stephen Graham as Jacob Marley, Charlotte Riley as Lottie, Joe Alwyn as Bob Cratchit, Vinette Robinson as Mary Crachit, and Johnny Harris as Franklin Scrooge.
Check out the trailer for yourself.
If you’re sitting there scratching your head as to who Tom Hardy could be playing, by process of elimination it’s probably going to be The Ghost Of Christmas Present.
That’s the official prediction.
