To be honest , there’s really no such thing as “normal.” Everyone has things about them that make them unique . And when people show those things off, they make the world a lot more interesting.
The people in this list have some pretty interesting things going on with their bodies. Some are born with them (like having differently-colored eyes), and some had them happen randomly, or temporarily. But hey, it’s still cool!
“My son and I have a freckle on the same part of our hands. Mine on the left, his on the right.”

It’s almost like looking at a mirror image! I guess it’s pretty safe to say that OP and their son are related, but the odds of them having mirroring freckles still seems really low.
“My partial heterochromia looks like islands.”

Heterochromia is so cool because it looks different in everyone. I totally didn’t know you could have heterochromia like this! Especially since OP has blue eyes, those spots really do look like an island chain.
“My sister in law’s hand after walking the dogs in Wisconsin cold.”

Looks like Reynaud’s to me. Some people’s hands, fingers, feet, etc. just go numb after being cold. It’s always kind of interesting to look at, but also super terrifying (even though it’s not terribly dangerous).
“The tip of my middle finger fell off when I broke my arm as a kid, now I have a funky right hand and can’t hold a pen properly.”

OP clarified that the finger probably fell off from a lack of circulation when her arm was in a cast. Scary, but apparently it’s not painful or anything.
“My arm naturally bends like this.”

I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been staring at this picture for a while trying to figure out how OP is doing that. It almost feels like some kind of super power.
“I was born with only four fingers on my left hand.”

In other words, OP has one hand that looks like that of the average cartoon character. Funny enough, they also mentioned that very few people brought it up upon meeting them for the first time.
“I burned my hand through a tea towel.”

That’s got to hurt. But at the same time, the pattern is, like, super interesting. It’s probably the only good that can come out of something so painful.
“Weird lines in my skin I have forming on my arm.”

To be honest, those marks aren’t really that weird. After all, they’re just stretch marks; it’s probably weirder if you don’t have at least a few somewhere on your body.
“The hair on my arm which my cast was removed from has grown a lot more than normal.”

I’m not gonna lie, I have no idea what’s going on here. Like, did OP’s hair grow faster under the cast? Did it just get darker or something? Who knows, honestly…
“I got a hand massager that leaves my hand/wrist like this when I’m done.”

That probably looks more painful than it actually is. I guess it’s kind of like if you sleep in a weird position and you get a mark on your face from your blanket or something.
“Burned my arm with coffees, ended up in a [sic] interesting pattern.”

Minor burns always suck, but they do tend to leave you with some pretty interesting scars for a few months. This person’s arm almost looks like it has writing on it.
“I have Vitiligo and Heterochromia.”

I don’t think I’ve seen a person who has complete heterochromia and vitiligo before. That’s actually really cool.
“I have the letter ‘N’ on my left hand and the letter ‘M’ on my right hand.”

The different lines on peoples hands are always so cool! I wonder what somebody who practices palmistry (telling fortunes based off the lines on your palms) would say about this person.
“I have Brachydactyly type D, or Toe Thumbs on both my hands.”

According to OP, their thumbs work like normal thumbs, they just happen to be shaped like toes. It’s interesting, that’s for sure.
“My strand of hair that fell off that’s black, brown, and white.”

A strand of hair with gray roots isn’t that strange. But like the comment section under this post, I’m wondering whether that strand is super thick like a whisker, or if the zoom is just that good.
“Here’s a hand with really long fingers.”

I always thought I had fingers that were kind of long, but looking at OP’s hand, makes my fingers feel very small all of a sudden. Still, that’s pretty neat.
“I have complete heterochromia AND physiologic anisocoria (different sized pupils).”

I definitely didn’t know that you could have different sized pupils! I swear, this list has taught me more about the human body than what I learned at school.
“My fiancé’s arm hair goes in a fun swirl.”

That almost reminds me of a finger print. Like, how they kind of look a little swirly. Now I’m wondering if our body hair patterns are as unique as fingerprints…
“This 2-inch gray hair protruding from my forehead.”

I feel like we all have at least one weird, long gray or white hair that sticks out of the most random place. I found one on my back once.
“Portuguese man o’ war stinging tentacle wrapped around my ankle.”

From what I can tell, a sting from one of those things isn’t deadly, but it can be super painful. And I guess it leaves a tattoo-like mark on your skin for a while, too.
