TikToker Anna Grace Phelan has died at the age of 19, less than one year after being diagnosed with brain cancer.
Her family announced her death online

In a post shared on her account on Saturday, May 24, the TikToker’s family announced that she passed away the day before on Friday, May 23.
The family wrote, “It is with great sadness to announce that our beautiful daughter, Anna Grace Phelan, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
They thanked her viewers

“So many of you have followed her journey through a difficult battle with cancer and bore witness to her powerful testimony of faith,” the family’s statement continued.
“Thank you for the countless thousands of prayers for healing and peace.”
Phelan’s family prayed for her

The post went on, “May we all rejoice with the assurance that she is in Heaven now, and she has been healed. Let us also remember that the only path to the promised kingdom of Heaven is through salvation in Jesus Christ.”
She’s survived by a large family

As per the influencer’s obituary, she is survived by a large family: her parents, William “Buddy” Phelan and Nadine Phelan, her brother Harper Phelan, her four grandparents, and “a host of aunts, uncles and cousins, who love her very much.”
Phelan had been documenting her journey

The Georgia-based TikToker, who is originally from Florida, had been documenting her cancer journey on social media since the start of her symptoms last summer.
Phelan began experiencing symptoms just days before she was set to start college.
She got diagnosed with cancer

The family had set up a GoFundMe for Phelan to help with her medical expenses.
She was diagnosed with a grade 4 malignant brain tumor categorized as a glioma. This, according to Mayo Clinic, is a growth of cells that starts in the brain or the spinal cord.
Phelan had shared her initial symptoms
In a TikTok posted in late August of last year, Phelan had shared her initial cancer symptoms with her followers.
She shared that her symptoms included numbness on one side of her face and in one of her legs. When she received an MRI scan, it showed a lesion on her brain. She later got a brain biopsy and was diagnosed with cancer.
She kept fighting till the end

Sharing her diagnosis in a video in September, Phelan said, “This is definitely the hardest news I’ve ever received.”
“By all means, this is not easy. Just going to trust in the Lord and try and keep pushing forward.”
