Thanksgiving is an American tradition, but its positivity has influenced other cultures worldwide, including Kate Beckinsale in England. The English actress shared what she was thankful for with a video of herself playing a prank on him.
She confirmed that it wasn’t an English tradition, but she loved its entailments, including showing gratitude for things and people around you. It’s not the first American tradition Beckinsale would adopt, nor would it be the last.
It’s also fitting because, as an actress, the 49-year-old is well-traveled.
The Best Way To Celebrate Thanksgiving
Beckinsale’s prank was simple – twerk in your best friend’s face and fart on it. The Underworld actress wore skinny black pants with laced-up booties, a gray t-shirt, and a matching cardigan. She wore her typically packed hair down in a center part with curls.
She confessed that Thanksgiving isn’t an English tradition, but she loved the concept of celebrating with friends.
Beckinsale’s best friend, Chase Aston, her makeup artist, caught her in the act leading to laughter.
Talking About Farts
Aston restyled Beckinsale’s hair last week into a strawberry blonde cropped cut stopping by her jaws. He parted her hair to the side, letting the tresses fall in wide curls. The duo has a new segment on Instagram called the Makeup Wagon Chat, where they banter while prepping for scenes.
The makeup and hairstylist should’ve known something was coming when Beckinsale debated the “lighting of farts” in America and England. She always has the most interesting conversation starters, and farts are just one of them.
Finding A Best Friend
As we’ve learned on her social media, Aston isn’t Beckinsale’s only friend. The actress also has a close relationship with the actress Nina Kate, whom she called her “ideal high-school bestie. The duo had a sleepover like typical teenagers, including fun games such as pillow fights.
First, they had fun in pink robes, with Kate wearing a floor-length one and Beckinsale in a mini-styled one. The Contraband actress paired her robe with knee-high platform black boots and wore a black ribbon on her ponytail while Kate styled her black hair in a 1920s flapper cut.
Pillow Fights Are Fun

During their pillow fight, the duo changed into pajama shorts and shirts, with Beckinsale in a yellow and black number and Kate in a blush velvet mesh set. She posted the pictures to reassure people who felt lost and alone that they could find someone, too, regardless of the time. As she said, this Thanksgiving is about friendship appreciation.
