Let’s just get the obvious out in the open here: Baby Yoda is crazy cute. I mean, don’t we all want one of our own to walk around with?
Well, as it turns out, now you can. And we don’t mean walking around with a plushie in your arms — ‘cuz that’s kinda weird.

This is an actual remote-controlled Baby Yoda toy that moves and makes noises and even follows you around. If it were any other Star Wars character, we’d say that sounds kind of creepy. But when it’s someone as cute as The Child, creepy gives way to unbelievably cute.
How can we possibly say no to this little Force?
Disney’s new Baby Yoda toy is called The Child Real Moves Plush and was created by Mattel as part of their Star Wars: The Mandalorian toy line.
Measuring 12-inches tall, the toy possesses the unique ability to walk (well, it’s more of a waddle), swivel its head, move its arms, and even wiggle its ears — all thanks to remote-control capabilities. Did we mention that he can also made adorable babbling noises?
Ooooh, child, this toy is epically fun.
Things start getting pretty epic when it comes to the remote control for Baby Yoda.
It’s equipped with a joystick that allows you to choose the toy’s movements. But what’s perhaps most amazing of all, you can actually program the doll to play hide-and-seek. To do this, you simply press the blue button on the remote and The Child gives you 10 seconds to find a good hiding spot.
This is technology I can really get behind!
But wait, there’s more.
If you press the yellow button, Baby Yoda will follow you around wherever you go, and by pressing the red button, he goes into ‘Curious’ mode where he wanders around exploring his surroundings.
This little buddy sounds a lot like an awesome dog, except he’s way less maintenance. And there’s no clean-up!
Let’s face it, this is Baby Yoda’s world and we’re just living in it.
Pardon the pun, but you and I both know that this toy is out of this world. He comes complete with a faux fur-trimmed burlap coat and Mythosaur pendant on a leather strap. In other words, he’s about as authentic as you can get for an otherworldly creature. I’m sold.
