Felicity Huffman and Lori Laughlin have both been arrested in connection with a college admissions scandal ring. The internet lost its mind. Let’s get into it.
A quick summary.
In case you missed it, news broke that over 50 people have been indicted in a case involving falsified college entrance exam scores.
Among those people are two prominent actresses, Lori Laughlin (Aunt Becky on Full House ) and Felicity Huffman (Lynette Scavo on Desperate Housewives ).
The bribes rolled in.
According to court documents, Huffman and Loughlin were both caught in “Operation Varsity Blues,” which is a 100% real thing. This is the world we live in, according to Global News .
They paid bribes to coaches, photographers, and to William “Rick” Singer, who runs a college prep program, to have people take the SATs for their children.
They also cheated in other areas.
In addition to the SATs, photos of the children were photoshopped to demonstrate them playing sports they had never played.
Meanwhile, actual students who couldn’t afford to bribe a bunch of susceptible officials missed out on spots to attend those universities.
But okay, I’m sure Lori Laughlin’s daughter, Olivia Jade, who has stated in multiple videos on her YouTube channel that she has no interest in college, deserved that spot more, right?
This should have been their first plan.
Somehow, sneaking a radio in disguised as a sandwich seems less ridiculous now that we know pictures of Lori Laughlin’s kids were photoshopped to make it look like they participated in crew.
Which they did not.

He is merely listed as her spouse, but it has been indicated that he did have knowledge of what his wife was doing.
