25 years ago, The Shawshank Redemption hit the theatres and became a classic.
Although it didn’t make too much money at the box office, it’s one of the highest-rated movies of all time.
The movie is based on Stephen King’s novella.

And in case you haven’t seen it, it covers the story of two prisoners who end up becoming best friends.
And what was most interesting was what they were serving time for.

Morgan Freeman, who plays Red, is serving a life sentence, and Andy Dufresne who plays Tim Robbins is serving for the wrongful conviction of the murder of his wife.
The movie will only be coming back in select theatres so make sure to pay attention!

This will be happening on Sept. 22, 24, and 25.
Will you be going to watch it in theaters?

Or will you just stream it from your tv?
