So today we’re going to talk about The 100 , yet another CW show that is capturing the hearts and minds of a CW viewing public.
What will they do next?
Let’s talk…

The 100 , people.
Because there is a lot of talking to be done, especially after that wacky whirly twirly Season 6 finale, that left a bunch of us truly baffled.
First off…

We’re going to be talking about the end of Season 6 of The 100 , folks, so if you’re still on Season 1 and just starting your binge, then fly off and quick.
So…

As we all know, The 100 is the story of 100 bad kids who are sent down to earth to live thereafter an apocalyptic event.
Obviously, this is pretty hard.
Eventually the bad kids are joined by the rest of the people who were on their spaceship

This makes things on the doomed planet even harder, for a couple of seasons.
They throw their hands up, say “screw it” and leave for a new planet altogether.

Which, if we keep going in the direction we are, is something we are going to have to go through ourselves.
So here we are…

On Season 6, where the characters of the show have been all worried about this “anomaly”, which is Sci-Fi speak for “pretty much a bunch of weird stuff is about to happen”.
“The Blood of Sanctum”

Cool name for a finale, right?
Anyways, so we start off with the rough and tough Octavia opening the green, swirling anomaly with her mysterious back tattoo. Uh… wait, what was that?
Then, an adult version of Diyoza’s baby Hope comes out of nowhere and tells Octavia that “he” is keeping Diyoza.

Okay, wait a minute, hold on for a second, I think…
So Octavia tells Hope that she has to do what must be done, so she stabs Octavia.

Er, wh–
And then, Bellamy comes in and while he’s holding Octavia into his arms, she disintegrates into nothing.
Alright, everybody stop!

Because I am beyond confused. Luckily, we have an interview where executive producer Jason Rothenberg answers all of our very hot, very spicy, very burning questions.
Thank freaking goodness.
First question…

What the heck is going on with Hope? Why is she suddenly around 20 ?
Well, according to Mr. Rothenberg, “time is behaving badly around her” because she was a fetus when Diyoza went into the anomaly.
Second Question…

What happened to Octavia? Is she dead or is she just suffering the wrath of Thanos and will be back in The 100: Endgame ?
Apparently, we’re going to have to “wait and see” for that one. But we’ll get to see her backstory in a flashback.
Final question…

Who is Sheidheda? What is his/her/it’s deal ?
Apparently, Jason Rothenberg describes this “Dark Commander’s A.I.” as a “ghost in the machine”. Ah, I see, that explains everything and totally doesn’t make me more confused.
Just kidding.

I’m as confused as ever. But, that might just be the nature of Sci-Fi folks, especially when it comes to The 100 .
We’ll just have to wait for our answers in Season 7.
What do you think?

Does any of this make any more sense to you? Or are you just as confused as before?
And most importantly, what do you think is going to happen next season?
