As Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ trial continues to take place, more people are testifying in regards to his actions. As of late, he and his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura’s former stylist has testified to a shocking moment.
The stylist took the stand
Deonte Nash, who worked as a stylist for Diddy and Cassie Ventura, took the stand on Wednesday, May 28, during the third week of the rapper’s federal trial, as per the BBC.
Nash was there to help Ventura
Nash testified that, in 2013, he and an assistant being referred to in court as ‘Mia’ were helping Ventura pack for the OVO festival when Combs walked into the room unannounced.
“He said, ‘B—-, didn’t I tell you to answer your phone?’” Nash recalled.
He claims he saw Combs assault Ventura
Combs allegedly followed his statement by grabbing Ventura and dragging her by the hair as he began to hit her, according to Nash’s testimony.
The stylist called the assault “very hard,” claiming that Combs allegedly kept beating Ventura until she hit her head on a bed frame, causing her to bleed.
Nash and Mia tried to stop him
The stylist testified that he and the assistant who was present tried to stop Combs, who is also known as Puff. Nash said, “I jumped on Puff’s back.”
“He threw me off. Mia too,” Nash said, adding that Combs still kept hitting Ventura even after he and Mia tried to stop him.
Combs’ security guard was there
Nash recalled that at one point, Combs allegedly said, “Look what y’all made me do.”
He also testified that Combs’ security guard, D-Roc, was also there during the alleged attack.
Ventura suffered a scar afterwards
Nash recalled that the day following this incident, Ventura appeared on FaceTime with a gash in her eyebrow, having had to get stitches there.
The stylist also testified earlier on Wednesday, May 28, that Combs would often call Ventura degrading names.
Combs has multiple charges against him
American rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.
He has pleaded not guilty on all charges and it’s currently the third week of his trial.
