As if we needed anymore reason to satisfy our sweet and savory tooth, SNICKERS just released a new version of their classic candy bar filled with pecans instead of peanuts.
This release comes just in time for fall, and I’m drooling thinking about the chocolately-caramely-pecany goodness.
Snickers went on a little road trip across America to find out which nut they should feature in their chocolate bars next.

They traveled to Florida, Texas, California, and Hawaii, states that are known to grow regional nuts.
Ultimately, Texas and their pecans took the big win.

“It turned out that fans from Texas and across the south are nuts about pecans and wanted to taste America’s native nut in our iconic candy bar,” SNICKERS’ Brand Director Josh Olken said in a statement .
The bar features their iconic milk chocolate coating and caramel filling, kicking peanuts out for a break while pecans have their moment.

This offering fits right in with all the new fall food releases, as pecans are a major fall staple in pies, on top of sweet potatoes, and crumbled over cheesecake.
It’s safe to say many people were excited about this new flavor, because they’re now completely sold out!

For now, they were only available in a 15 pack and customers could only order online .
Here’s to hoping they release these in retail stores soon! And if you’re one of the lucky people who were able to order a box, let us know how they taste!
