What’s your favorite cold summer treat? If you answered ice pops or freezies, you’re my kind of person, ha, ha! There is honestly nothing better at quenching your thirst and providing a bit of flavor than an ice pop .
But what if you could make them even better? I’m talking about booze, people. It turns out, there’s a hack out there to mix your ice pops with liquor for a tasty treat .
OMG, what? I bet I have your full attention now, huh?
Well, you did hear me right. Apparently, people are spiking them ice pops with stuff like vodka or rum or another favorite liquor. I’m not even kidding you. It’s true.
I had no idea about this until I saw a video on TikTok.
And then I totally freaked out. “I must do this,” I thought to myself. But first I wanted to share this trick with you so we can cheers together, hee-hee.
I can’t believe it’s so simple.
All you need to do is cut off the top of your unfrozen ice pop. Pour some of the liquid out to make room for the booze. Then, add your drink of choice. For me, it would be either rum or tequila.

Delicious or what? Okay, but how do you seal the package back up, you ask? I’m going to tell you right now. Get this, people are actually using a hair straightener to do so. Say that again?
I know what you’re thinking.
It sounds pretty weird, right? That’s what I thought when I first heard about it. But when you see how it’s done, you’ll totally get it. The heat from the straightener will simply seal the ice pop package.
Why haven’t I thought of that? Ha, ha!
Okay, make sure the straightener isn’t on too high of a temperature. You wouldn’t want to burn the package, eh? You can also use some parchment paper as a layer of protection between the two.
