A familiar face is making its face back to Jersey Shore ! Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola , JS’s favorite original cast, is returning for the new season of the Family Vacation series.

In 2018, after the announcement of a new Jersey Shore on the way, the “Sweetheart” of the show revealed she would not be taking part in the reboot. She wrote, “I am at a completely different place in my life right now focusing on my businesses and relationship. I am currently extremely happy in every aspect of my life and want to avoid potentially toxic situations.”

In an interview with E! News , Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi explained that she and other cast members had spoken to Sammi to join the reboot show but refused. She said, “We tried to get her back like two years ago, all of us texting her saying, ‘Come for one dinner. Why not?’ And she’s just always like, ‘No, I’ll never do that show again.’ We didn’t want to push it.”
