Rob Lowe took to Twitter to slyly shade those who have been recently involved in the college admissions scandal and honestly, we kind of love it.
Hey, he’s just a proud dad, doing what proud dad’s do.
In case you hadn’t heard the news…
We recently learned that over 50 people have been indicted in a case involving falsified college entrance exam scores.
Basically, they paid to get their kids into college, which is actually pretty darn illegal.

And also just hilariously insane, tbh.
WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO HARD WORK, AMIRITE?
On the list of 50 names included actresses Lori Laughlin and Felicity Huffman.

Since the news broke, Twitter has been relentlessly roasting these women for cheating the system.
These parents are taking away opportunities from hard-working students who don’t have rich parents to help them out.
There’s other ways to get into Ivey league schools, ya know. Ever heard of a parent making a sizable donation to a universities “library”?
One celebrity son shared his thoughts on Twitter.

John Lowe, a Stanford graduate and Rob Lowe’s son shared a throwback photo with his parents and brother from his graduation day.
“Still proud of this achievement. Happy for everyone out there who earned their accomplishments…” he wrote.

He went on to explain that he was proud of his achievement and was happy for everyone who earned their accomplishments, and expressed empathy for those who never got the chance.
Anyone who has applied to college or university knows the time consuming and exhausting process applications entail.
“The amount of stress kids put into that to potentially lose a spot to someone unfairly is horrible,” he wrote.
He acknowledged that he was privileged enough to have a tutor that aided in his success.
But he got into school on his own merit. He studied hard, took practice tests, and even took the SAT multiple times.
In a response to his son’s tweet, Rob Lowe said that he was proud of his honest and hardworking sons.

And I’m sure that’s true, but his tweet definitely came off as shade to Felicity and Lori.
Interestingly enough, Lori’s daughter made a YouTube video a while back going on about how she didn’t care about school.
She just wanted to be there for game days and parties.
As of right now, nobody knows if Felicity or Lori’s daughter knew about the fraud.

For all we know, they’re under the impression that they got into these schools on their own.
Which would make this whole situation even more tragic and embarrassing for the girls.

Olivia’s Instagram has been flooded with comments mocking her and her fraudulent education.
Anyway, Rob ended up deleting his initial tweet.
But regardless, people loved how petty it was. Am I the only one who wishes he didn’t remove it?
Own that shade, Rob!
I hope celebrities learn from the mistakes of Lori Laughlin and Felicity Huffman and just believe in their kids like Rob Lowe did.

This will also help “normal” students who deserve to be in school an equal chance at success.
