The relationship between human beings and dogs is a special one, to say the least. Scientific research shows that man’s domestication of dogs first took place some 30,000 years ago , and since that time, our playful pups have become our literal and proverbial best friends.
Our dogs would do anything for us. In fact, some dogs are so loving and considerate that they take public transportation just to surprise their owners at work. Now, that might sound a little far-fetched. That is until you read about Gladys Shigla and her adoring dog, Denver.

A few days later, Denver once again made his way down to the bus stop and boarded the bus — solo, this time. Now that he was fully aware of where his paw-rent went every day, he decided to bus down to her shop to surprise her at work! Gladys was understandably shocked, albeit happy to see her happy boy had arrived, safe and sound.
Gladys Chalked the Whole Thing Up to Happenstance and Coincidence — Until Denver Visited Her for the Third Time
It became evident very quickly that Denver knew exactly what he was doing. Today, it’s gotten to the point now where the transport drivers recognize him and expect him to ride the bus. Luckily for Denver, he’s able to skate by on his good looks and charm, offering up “pets” in exchange for bus fare.
