Have you ever realized that you’ve been doing something wrong this whole time? I’m so annoyed when that happens, ha, ha!
So my mind was recently blown when I found out I’ve been drinking my favorite Starbucks drink the wrong way. What? Oh, yes. That’s right! Get ready to change the way you’ve been doing it after you read this.
Who here is a fan of the bottled version of Starbucks’ Frappuccinos?

I have to admit it’s one of my favorite summer drinks. How do you drink it, though? Do you just put the bottle in your fridge? That’s what I do, too.
Well, as it turns out — it’s wrong!

You’re not supposed to put these in the fridge. Instead, you’re supposed to put them in the freezer. What? I didn’t know that. Did you know that? Why didn’t anybody tell me that?
When you store these in the fridge and then take them out to drink, they’re pretty much like a cold latte.

That’s the consistency. Am I right? But why are they called a “frappuccino” then? Do you get what I’m saying here?
But when you store them in the freezer, it’s a different story.

Take it out and shake the bottle. Then pour the liquid out and you’ll see that now the drink actually looks like a frappuccino is supposed to look. Wow!
Is your mind blown or what?

Mine was when I heard about this. And here I thought I was some sort of a frappuccino expert, ha, ha! As it turns out, I am not. And I’m embarrassed that I didn’t know about this.
In fact, there are some Starbucks employees that didn’t even know about this bottled frappuccino fact.
OMG, now I don’t feel as bad, ha, ha! Phew, I thought I was the only one missing out. I’m glad that I’m not.
Get this, apparently a lot of folks didn’t know about this trick either.

When a TikTok user posted about this on the platform, the post got a lot of likes and comments. And many of the reactions were just like mine, ha, ha!
What adds to the mass confusion is the directions on the bottle.

They only tell you to “chill” the drink. Even Starbucks locations don’t store these bottles in the freezer when you buy them there. What’s up with that? That’s what I would like to know.
Some folks actually admitted that they never questioned how the bottled frap works.

They just accepted it as a fact. Ha, ha, I guess that’s alright, too. However, sometimes you need to question things. That’s what I think, at least.
Then, others wanted to chime in with their obvious explanation of how this experiment works.

Okay, I get it, you’re smart. Rub it in, why don’t you? I was never that great at chemistry myself, so there, I admit it.
On the other hand, these folks admitted they would be scared to put the bottle in the freezer.

Wouldn’t it explode if left there for too long? I understand that would be something to consider. However, I think you should be safe if you leave it in for a short amount of time.
You only need to freeze it for about three or four hours for this idea to take full effect.

I have put my fraps in the freezer before, but now I realize it wasn’t long enough. I only did it for about 30 minutes or so.
However, don’t leave it in the freezer for too long.

This lady left hers for a few days, and disaster happened. Not only did she have no frap to drink as the glass broke, but I bet she had lots of mess to clean up, too. Be sure to set a timer and take out the bottle after a few hours.
So now that you know this hack, are you more excited to get your next Starbucks bottled frap?
I’ve got to say I am, ha, ha! In fact, I wish I had one right now. OMG, I’m craving it so bad even though it’s still cold outside.
