Recently, an interaction with a fan on Twitter really exposed how Khloé’s mind works. Let’s dive in.
Khloé owns a clothing brand.
Called Good American, the brand focuses mainly on high-end, luxury jeans.
I am gonna give her inclusivity points here, because Good American’s jeans are available from a size 0 to a size 24.
It also includes activewear.
The inclusivity points continue in their activewear range, where their sizes go up to a 4XL in leggings, and the same in their tops (and workout bras).
So, that’s…not so bad!
And that brand is expensive.
The inclusivity points stop at the prices for Good American jeans.
In fact, a quick browse of their site reveals that the cheapest jeans still clock in at $79—and that’s the sale price.
For regular prices, the jeans average at $100 and up, which is almost on par with brands like Guess and Coach.
These brands are long-running, and have earned that right. Good American? Pretty darn new.
The brand also knows how expensive it is.
Alongside some pairs of jeans is a special message under the price: Good American literally has a payment program so that people can afford their jeans.
Payment plans are for vacations and homes… Not jeans!
Like, how insane does a company have to be to think their customers should require a long-term purchasing program? Jheez.
I’m torn between thinking that’s not a bad idea, and wanting to scream.
Recently, a well-meaning fan highlighted the insanity of their prices.
Kaelynn Abner, a fan of Khloé and Good American, tweeted out that she’s going to have to work 20 hours to afford a pair of the GA jeans.
What we’re not gonna do is judge her for wanting those jeans — a girl wants what a girl wants!
But she highlights just how insane the price of those jeans are. 20 hours is nearly half of a full-time workweek — that’s absolutely ridiculous.
So Khloé happened to see the tweet.
Khloé, in a stunning display of tone-deafness, decided to reply to Kaelynn and let her know that working 20 hours to afford a pair of jeans is cute!
Um…girl, what? Cute is a puppy, or the Queer Eye guys playing with puppies.
Cute is not working 20+ hours to afford a pair of jeans.
Naturally, Twitter had something to SAY.
They’re right, and they should say it.
Khloé may have had no clue how dumb her tweet was, but Twitter sure did. Some, like Zoe, laid things out in a borderline polite manner.
And some did not.
Listen, this may not be the nicest tweet…but is it wrong? Is it wrong?
Also, why did we let Paris Hilton get away with wearing that shirt back in the day? Yikes.
The memes started rolling in.

The succinctness of this screencap is pretty close to art, in my opinion.
And Twitter pointed out the obvious.
Rather than just comment on how cute it is that it takes one person 20 hours to make what I assume Khloé makes in, what, 10 minutes? She could give away some jeans.
Just a thought.
KoKo’s response was basically the equivalent of saying “wow that’s crazy” to a story you don’t care about.
To be fair this is my signature move, but damn!
Obviously, people are being extra AF about the whole situation.
But also, that price is extra AF, too. Fair is fair.
On the other side of things, some people are saying it’s a choice.
Technically, no one was forced to purchase these jeans…
But the fact remains that Khlo-Money is targeting everyday women , and that’s where the issue lies. Everyday women can NOT afford to spend half their pay on jeans.
Others have pointed out that nothing in life is free.
Maybe purchasing a nice pair of jeans for yourself, with your hard earned money is something to be proud of (??)

Khloé still hasn’t addressed the situation.
Despite blowing up on social media, Khloé hasn’t said a single thing about the incident.
The fact that this is just another day ending in “y” for her kinda blows my mind, not gonna lie.
This isn’t the first time Khloé stuck her foot in her mouth.
…This week.
On March 17th, Khloé posted a meme to her Instagram stories.
In it, a t-shirt depicting loving different groups has a worrying message on it.
“Love Thy Racist Neighbor” is a choice in a world where racism is already rampant. Big. Yikes.
Oh, we aren’t done.
On top of giving off some big “All Lives Matter” energy (which, if you just balked at that, is a fine phrase…except that the point of “[Blank] Lives Matter” is to highlight the need to fight for underrepresented minority groups), Khloé stepped in it once again.
Jameela Jamil called Khloé tf out.
Khloé was promoting Flat Tummy Tea on Instagram, which many influencers also promote.
Jameela pointed out the dangers of the tea, and how irresponsible it is for Khloé to perpetuate the cycle of low self-esteem in women, solved only by products you can buy.
At least we have our jokes to keep us warm.
While the Kardashian news cycle may burn you out, you can’t deny that it provides some truly great comedy.
And in this world, if you’re not laughing, you’re crying. So let’s get on with the memes.
