April Fool’s Day is right around the corner, and for parents, that gives us the perfect excuse to prank our kids . They prank us all year long, so a little fun and harmless payback in only fair, right?
Take a look at some of the pranks parents have shared online to get some inspiration for your own April Fool’s Day pranks . These ideas are pretty clever.
Serve up some yummy chocolate “eggs”.
Remove the wrappers from chocolate eggs and use them on grapes instead!Your kids will probably be mad at you, but at least this is one way to get them to eat fruit.
Surprise the kids with donuts.
They might be heartbroken when they discover there are no donuts in the box, so maybe pick up a few to give to them after the prank.
Turn their milk blue.
Remember in Star Wars when they were drinking blue milk on Tatooine? Well, now you can recreate it at home with a little bit of food coloring.
Fill their lunch with… lizards!
A few plastic creepy crawlies can easily be added to your child’s lunch for an April Fool’s surprise.
This is probably the meanest prank on the list.
Dip brussel sprouts in chocolate and wrap them up as cake pops. Don’t blame me if you’re kids are mad at you after you pull this.
Fill your ice machine with jelly beans.
If your kids are still upset over the brussel sprout-cake pops, then maybe this will put a smile on their face. Who doesn’t love jelly beans?
Make a plate of “brown Es”.
What’s better than an April Fool’s Day prank? One that also uses a really bad pun. Yeah your kids are definietly going to roll their eyes at this one.
Add googly eyes to their lunch.
I’m sure your kid will be surprised to find their lunch staring back at them. This is a pretty cute and easy idea.
Plant some “donuts”.
Give your kids a package of Cheerios and tell them that they are donut seeds. Plant the seeds in the garden the day before April Fool’s and place skewered donuts in the yard the next morning. Their jaws will drop.
