Look, I’d want to go to the Olympics for a host of different reasons. I’m only human — of course, I’d be drawn to the gorgeous athletes and want to meet as many downhill skiers from as many countries as possible, but I’d also want a bit of that A-list celebrity feeling. For two weeks, the world stops and pays attention to you . How cool is that?
However, above all else, I’d want to experience the 24/7 cafeteria.
I can only imagine what a daunting task it is to feed thousands of athletes from across the world for a two-week period.

With so many different dietary restrictions, preferences, and just people in one place, I can imagine the planning for this type of event would take months!
Well, spoiler alert — the Beijing 2022 Winter Games completely nailed it on the food front.
Canadian Olympic athlete Emilio Ficaccio is going viral after showing off what the Olympic food situation looks like for every athelete. After watching this video 5 times, I’ve decided I’d like this cafeteria to be my next vacation destination.
Emilio begins by showing the process of entering the cafeteria, which requires sanitizing and mandatory gloves.

He then shows that anyone with a pass can get access to the cafeteria 24/7. At just one glance, I don’t think two weeks is enough time to try all the delicious food!
He shows a wide variety of food stands offering a salad bar, pizza, pasta, Chinese food, vegetarian options, and international cuisines!
If that wasn’t enough, Emilio goes on to show off the ALL YOU CAN EAT ice cream set up!

Imagine the total bliss of having your event on the first day or two and then just being able to eat as much ice cream and pasta as you wish for two weeks FOR FREE?
I think I’ve unlocked a new life goal!
In addition to all the homemade food, the athlete reveals that on the next floor down there is a mini food court set up with all-you-can-eat KFC and Pizza Hut.

Well, I’ve never wanted to be an Olympic athlete more than I do right now.
“I want to go to the olympics just to eat!!” commented one viewer.
“If I had known this is what it would’ve been like, I would’ve tried harder in sports,” joked another.
Forget the gold medal, I’m in it for the food!
