One of the latest clips going viral on the health art of TikTok is that of a health worker getting berated for what was termed an unprofessional act. In the video, the nurse seemed to have been going about her daily routine when she stopped to film a POV video of one of her patients. However, this did not sit well with many, including a fellow TikTok nurse who took the time to address the clip.
The Health Worker Displayed A POV Clip
The 58-second video started with the first nurse dressed in her black scrubs with her blonde hair tucked behind her ears. She had pulled down a black surgical mask while appearing to be getting ready to clean up one of her patients. Placing the camera at an up-close point, the health worker strategically showed only herself with part of the patient’s pink blanket peeping from below. She followed the sound of the background music letting out an exclamation as she reacted to her caption. She also lifted the blanket subtly showing TikTok users her reference.

Nurse Nya Came Through With A Stitch
The video immediately morphed into the interface of another TikTok health worker with a media name, TikTok’s Nurse Nya . The stitched clip was an up-close image of her face. She started off by stating that she would rather be confronted by a tampon that has been “there” for a week than deal with the first health worker’s attitude.
Nurse Nya went on by adding that she would go ahead to help the helpless patient with a smile on her face because she knew they would be dying inside of the embarrassment. She stated that she would not add to the embarrassment. She took a professional turn while trying to understand the patient’s state.
She Passed Across A Thoughtful Message
Nya relayed that she would try to decipher why the individual had a tampon in for that long. The TikToker suggested that it could be toxic shock syndrome which she termed “a real thing.” The netizen nurse suggested that it would be better for a health worker to think of how long the material had been there, instead of how disgusted they felt about it because the health worker in question volunteered to work in that field. She stated that the lady could stop doing it if she felt that way about her patients. Nya included a lengthy caption. emphasizing her opinion further.

Nurse Nya’s stitch clip has since gone viral garnering over 1.3 million likes and over seven million views. Many media users filed to the comment section sharing their opinions while buttressing Nya’s point. While one user wondered why a nurse would want to be remembered as the health worker who made a patient feel ashamed, another wondered why anyone would work in health care and lack compassion. A third TikTok user added other reasons that could make patients forget their tampons which included ADHS, and some mental issues.
