A bizarre incident happened in my yard recently. I have a variety of trees, including seven avocado trees. My neighbor has been using them for years for free to supply her catering business. Yesterday someone came to pick avocados, and I allowed them to do so. This morning, my neighbor banged on my door accusing me of giving away her avocados, which apparently ruined her catering business. She even called me and my mom witches. While it’s true that I feel bad about potentially ruining her livelihood, I don’t think I did anything wrong by giving away the avocados. Did I do something wrong?
