James King, who appeared on TLC’s My 600-Lb. Life has passed away at the age of 49, TMZ reports.
King appeared on season 6 of the show in 2017.

According to King’s obituary , he passed away on Friday April 3rd in Nashville.
“He was a loving husband, son, brother, daddy and ‘poppy’ to his grandchildren,” states the obituary.
Funeral arrangements will be made privately in compliance with health and safety directives.

King is survived by his wife Lisa, his four daughters Carrie, Krystle, Courtney and Bayley, his two sons Daemian and Austin, and his 19 grandchildren.
TLC said they were “deeply saddened” by his passing in a statement on Facebook.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time,” they added.
TMZ reports that King passed away after several different past battles including sepsis and cirrhosis of the liver.
King was 49.
