According to Michael Jackson’s former publicist, Raymone Bain, Michael always hoped that his daughter, Paris Jackson, would grow up to be like “his best friend, Princess Diana”.
For those of you that didn’t know, now you know: Michael Jackson and Princess Diana were BFFs.

Their bond was a lot tighter than most of us ever knew.
He actually thought of Diana as his “kindred spirit” and the only person who ever truly “understood” him.

But their relationship was far from being one-sided.
Diana and Michael would supposedly chat all the time via late night phone calls.

And according to Michael’s former bodyguard, Matt Fiddes, Michael was “in love” with Diana.
“Michael told me he loved her, and he was in love with her, and he wanted to marry her,” Matt said.

“He told me she was his ideal wife,” he added .
Matt also claimed that Diana’s husband, Prince Charles was jealous of Michael and her’s friendship.

Michael’s legacy has been dragged through the mud following the HBO documentary, Leaving Neverland, which presents accusations of sexual abuse.
But those in Michael’s former circle unequivocally stand by his innocence.

Michael’s bodyguard, Matt Fiddes, recently released a documentary to combat Leaving Neverland called Chase the Truth .
The documentary points out how convenient it was that “Leaving Neverland” was released after Michael’s death — leaving him unable to defend himself.

Essentially, the theory is that the accusations of sexual abuse against the king of pop are solely motivated by money.
At any rate, Michael’s former publicist, Raymone Bain, recently spoke out during a press conference to launch the Michael Jackson Legacy Foundation.

He had a personal message for Michael’s daughter, Paris Jackson.
“I would like to send a special message to Paris,” he said.

“Like your father, you have shown immense grace and class under fire,” he continued .
“You’re beautiful, smart, articulate, you’re giving and the apple of your father’s eye.”

He then revealed that he and Michael used to be especially close, and that he confided in him that he wanted his daughter to eventually carry on his legacy.
“Your father would speak to me for hours on the phone and how he would like you to step up and carry on his philanthropic work.”

“He wanted you to be like his best friend Princess Diana .”
Paris, 21, is now a model, socialite, humanitarian, and actress.

And despite the brush her father has recently been painted with, she does her best to uphold his legacy.
She recently fired shots at 50 Cent on Instagram for insinuating that Chris Brown is better than MJ.

As you can imagine, this did not fly with 50.
Paris might not be exactly like Princess Diana, but she certainly has her ability to be outspoken about the things she believes in.
