You may already know that Mark Ruffalo and Brie Larson have co-starred together in Avengers: Endgame , but I bet you didn’t know this wasn’t the first time they’ve been in the same movie, and apparently, neither did Mark.
But when he put two and two together, his reaction was everything .

15 years ago, a movie that we have all held close to our hearts ever since, came out called “13 Going On 30”.
It is probably one of the most iconic romantic comedies of our time. You can’t argue that.
Mark Ruffalo played, Matt, Jenna Rink’s BFF and love interest.
I can’t stress how epic this movie was. Dare I call it one of the best movies ever? A cinematic masterpiece?
Anyway, remember the “six chicks”?
They were the most popular girls in school and Jenna would have given her left arm to be apart of their gang.
Well, Brie Larson was one of the six chicks. Peep her on the far right.
Obviously, this wasn’t a major or super memorable role in the movie — definitely an easy thing to overlook.
So, here we are, 15 years later, totally clueless that Brie Larson, AKA, Captain Marvel, was in “13 Going On 30”.
But turns out, Mark Ruffalo was just as clueless.
When an interviewer asked him if he knew that he and Brie had actually shared a screen together before, he looked like a deer caught in headlights.
At the “Avengers: Endgame” red carpet, the entire cast was interviewed by various reporters — it looked like a hoot.
But by far, one of the best moments was Mark Ruffalo finding out that his Endgame costar, Brie Larson, had been in another movie with him.
BTW, “Avengers: Endgame” comes out this Friday, so, buckle up!
The anticipation has been killing us. But in just a few more days, we’ll hopefully have all the answers we need to get some closure.
The interviewer handed Mark a photo of the six chicks.
He took a moment to figure out which one she actually was, and then when he finally figured it out he laughed hysterically.
“She was a mean girl!,” He chuckled.
The look of surprise and confusion on his face was so priceless.
“Oh my god,” he continued. “That’s amazing.”
“How cool. I didn’t know that!,” he went on.
“Does she talk about that?,” he asked the interviewer.
“Yeah!,” the interviewer quickly fired back.
“What does she say?” Mark asked.
To be fair, Mark’s character didn’t have any scenes with Brie’s, so they didn’t actually work together.
An understandable thing to let slip off your radar, Mark.
But the pure bliss that seemed to overcome him when he realized she was a “six chick” was just so pure, so wholesome — my heart can barely take it.
We all just fell a little deeper in love with Mark Ruffalo.
Some fans were just as shocked as Mark was.
I relate to this reaction on a deeper level.
You go your whole life thinking one thing — thinking you know something really well, and then suddenly, Brie Larson was a six chick .
We. Are. Shooketh .
Plus, the fact that it took Mark a whole 15 years to figure this out is hilarious in its own regard.
It’s also surprising that Brie hadn’t told Mark this yet? They’ve been working together for quite some time now, how has this not come up in conversation?
