As election season heats up and as more and more political scandals erupt, we know that celebrities using their platforms and influence to make a statement on whose side they’re on will only increase.
Sometimes, celebrities don’t let their political allegiances be known, but Mark Hamill is not one of those celebrities.

This all started with Greta Thunberg’s passionate speech at the UN Climate Summit.
If you don’t already know, Greta is a 16 year old climate activist from Sweden who’s making huge waves for her passion and dedication to stopping climate change.
This is her speech that went viral.
After being shared on Twitter countless times, it came to the attention of the President, who may have also seen the gif of her glaring at him and decided to comment.
Obviously, his response was pretty sarcastic.
For some people, it didn’t sit well that the President was using his platform to mock a 16 year old girl.
Legendary actor Mark Hamill was one of those people.
Mark retweeted the President with his own comment.
Mark definitely didn’t hold anything back, and referred to Trump as “a desperate old man terrified of being held accountable” for his actions.
For her part, Greta’s response brought some shade.
Greta temporarily changed her Twitter to the exact phrasing that the President used in his retweet of her.
If you’re going to start something on Twitter, teenagers (and Mark Hamill) will almost always win.
