Romance is definitely different for everyone. Some people love flowers. Others love chocolate. Some people would prefer a handmade gift or a card over something bought in a store.
Others want blood .

Okay, that’s a bit dramatic, but Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly do seem to be taking their romance to a newer, bloodier level on Instagram!
Megan Fox and rapper Machine Gun Kelly have been dating since early 2020.
The two worked together while filming the movie Midnight In The Switchgrass . Megan went on to star in a music video for Kelly, and the two announced their relationship publicly soon after.
Their relationship hasn’t been free of drama so far.
Megan Fox had previously been married to actor Brian Austin Green, and while their break up initially seemed amicable, it didn’t take long after Megan confirming her relationship with Kelly for things to start taking a less friendly turn on Instagram.
It started when Megan shared this shot of her with Kelly.
The black and white shot was coupled with the caption, “Achingly beautiful boy… my heart is yours.”
Brian took to his own Instagram to share a picture collage of his and Megan’s children with a similar caption, writing , “Achingly beautiful boys… my heart is yours,” which many fans took as a dig at Megan.
However, it doesn’t seem to have put much of a dent in Megan and Kelly’s relationship.
The two seem as loved up as ever, sharing sweet photos on their social media pages of each other and their relationship.
Of course, this also included Valentine’s Day, where Kelly revealed a pretty unique facet of their relationship.
For Valentine’s Day this year, the two shared tributes to each other on Instagram.
“There goes my heart / manifest outside of my body /draped in the towering silhouette of a most unusually handsome boy,” Megan shared on her page with some pictures of the happy couple.
“The journey will likely be perilous but there is no destination without him. Happy valentine’s day rehab, baby,” she wrote.
Kelly’s post was a little bit different, showing off a very interesting fashion accessory.
Alongside a few photos of the couple together, Kelly shared an image of a circular vial with blood inside of it, captioning the post, “I wear your blood around my neck.”
The reaction from fans to this unique gesture of love was certainly mixed!
Many fans drew a comparison to another famous couple they were reminded of.
Actors Billy Bob Thornton and Angelina Jolie famously wore vials of each other’s bloods during their marriage from 2000 to 2002.
If I had a nickel for every celebrity couple to wear each other’s blood as an accessory…I guess I’d have two nickels.
Some fans found it romantic.
“Mgk wearing Megan Fox’s blood in a necklace is very much the type of energy I’m looking for in a relationship,” one fan shared .
I suppose there is something to say for that level of dedication!
Others were definitely not fans of the move.
“This is weird and feels like it might be unsanitary?” one fan wrote on Instagram, while another fan commented asking, “What do you do with the vial when you guys break up?”
Personally, I don’t know if I’d have the stomach for it!
“Kinda weird, bro,” one fan wrote.
“Very Angelina and Billy Bob with the necklace,” another one added.
