Italian screen goddess and film pioneer, Gina Lollobrigida has passed away. The star actress who was dubbed the most beautiful woman in the world died at 95 after wielding a career that spanned over five decades.

Per CNN , the news of Gina’s death made headlines state her grandnephew Francesco Lollobrigida, who is the Minister of Agriculture, made the announcement on social media. Francesco had tweeted describing his legendary great aunt as “one of the brightest stars of Italian cinematography and culture.”
