We’re going to need an extra long opening sequence if we want the narrator to really catch us up with “That’s what you missed on Glee !”
Lea Michele, who played Rachel Berry on the iconic musical comedy, has been at the center of drama online after former cast members have accused her of making filming the show “a living hell.”
The drama began when Samantha Ware, who joined the show in season 6, retweeted a tweet of Lea Michele’s.

After stating that Lea threatened to defecate in Samantha’s wig “amongst other traumatic microaggressions,” other cast members and past crew on the show also came forward with similar reactions and support for Samantha, including Alex Newell and Amber Riley .
Jeanté Godlock, who now stars on the show *Daybreak*, revealed that when she was an extra on the set, Lea referred to them as ‘cockroaches.’

Glee cast member Dabier Snell also tweeted, “Girl, you wouldn’t let me sit at the table with the other cast members cause ‘I didn’t belong there’, [expletive] you Lea,” in reply to Lea’s original tweet.
HelloFresh, a company that previously paid Lea to endorse their products, quickly responded to the drama.

“HelloFresh does not condone racism nor discrimination of any kind. We are disheartened and disappointed to learn of the recent claims concerning Lea Michele. We take this very seriously, and have ended our partnership with Lea Michele, effective immediately,” the company tweeted .
While some were supportive of this decision, others were concerned HelloFresh acted without evidence.
“Just curious…so someone makes a claim about her, and you canned her? Based off of a claim? She may be the biggest assclown in the world, but dumping her because of a claim? We do that? Damn. I thought stuff like this took verification,” one fan tweeted .
However, Lea acknowledged the claims and apologized in a post on her Instagram.
“While I don’t remember ever making this specific statement and I have never judged others by their background or color of their skin, that’s not really the point,” she wrote.

“What matters is that I clearly acted in ways which hurt other people. Whether it was my privileged position and perspective that caused me to be perceived as insensitive or inappropriate at times or whether it was just my immaturity and me just being unnecessarily difficult, I apologize for my behavior and for any pain which I have caused,” read her lengthy statement .
“We all can grow and change and I have definitely used these past several months to reflect on my own shortcomings.”

“I listened to these criticisms and I am learning and while I am very sorry, I will be better in the future from this experience,” she finished.
