At this point we are all aware of the fact that Kit Kat reigns supreme with their various flavors. Now, I don’t have any stats to show, which hurts my past academic soul, but I would be willing to bet that they’re at the top when it comes to most flavor variations of a candy bar.
And their next flavor release makes me want to paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaartay.
News is going around that Kit Kat is set to release a Birthday Cake flavor in the New Year.
New junk food watchdog Instagrammer @junkfoodleaks_ got wind of the news somehow. We really don’t know how.
Maybe they’re a Nestlé spy or simply have connections.
I like the drama of Nestlé spy, personally.
Edit: I’ve just been informed that Kit Kat is owned by Hershey’s in the US. I’m …confused and sorry. Moving on.
According to @junkfoodleaks_, who is the only person we know of to have publicly tried this, this flavor is an absolute “BANGER.”
They gave this Kit Kat a 9.2/10, stacking it at number two out of all the Kit Kat flavors on the market.
They describe the new Kit Kats as a harder texture than the original milk chocolate ones, and the flavor being reminiscent of eating Funfetti frosting right out of the tub.
The chocolate bar is pretty sweet allegedly, but they continue , “The funfetti pearls, the crunch, everything about this is an absolute slam dunk.”
To be honest, it sounds like an absolute party for our palettes, and I am ready.
If you don’t like the flavor of birthday cake, whatever that actually is anyway, then we’re officially done.
