Keeping Up With the Kardashians has been on the air since 2007, and that doesn’t happen by accident.
The family is always up to something — the world has followed closely as the Kardashian–Jenners go through their ups and downs, but that doesn’t always mean it’s easy for them to share these private moments with millions.
By now, the whole world is well aware of Tristan’s cheating scandal, right?

If you’re not, then please let me know what rock you’ve been living under, because I would like to move in.
Basically, earlier this year, news broke that Tristan had cheated on Khloé, and she went into labor shortly after.

At the time these allegations were going down, we were desperate to know if the Keeping Up With the Kardashians cameras were filming or not.
The family has a history of sharing even their most private moments with the world.

So we figured that this drama would be no exception.
The thing is, we don’t see anything that happens in their lives until several months later.

That’s all thanks to some behind-the-scenes TV technicalities that I can’t be bothered to research.
It is what it is, okay?
Anyway, even though Khloé gave birth in April, we’re just now seeing the drama unfold in November.

I don’t mind though, because these episodes have been juicy .
A few weeks ago, we were able to see the exact moment Kourtney, Kim, Kendall, and Kylie learned about Tristan cheating.

Conveniently, all the cameras were recording them.
Khoé wasn’t being filmed at the time, but she did call Kim, and we got to hear how she was handling everything.

At first, she sounded upset, and she even wanted to come back to L.A. to give birth.
But her contractions started, and before we knew it she was in labor.

Kris, Kourtney, and Kim wasted no time tracking down a plane to fly them to Cleveland, where Khloé was.
But before they took off, Khloé warned everybody that regardless of Tristan’s recent affair, he would still be in the delivery room.

Drama, right?
She made it clear that she wanted the delivery room to be a relaxing environment.
Which would be hard to accomplish with emotions running high, I’m sure.
A clip for the upcoming birth episode shows Kim encountering Tristan for the first time since the rumors in the delivery room.

Nobody was sure what would go down.
Earlier on, Kim had commented that she was going to ignore Tristan altogether.

But then she decided she was going to stare him down, and maybe even drag her finger across her throat in a threatening manner.
Not going to lie, if Kim did that to me, I’d be horrified.
The Kardashians are fierce — I’d never want to cross any of them.
Anyway, when Kim walks in to the delivery room, she completely ignores Tristan at first.

She goes directly to Khloé and starts asking about her contractions.
She then asks where the bathroom is, and Khloé points to the door, which Tristan happens to be standing in front of.

Without saying a word to him, Kim heads to the bathroom, and Tristan jumps away from her . It’s pretty tense.
You can see she was purposefully ignoring him.
When she comes out of the bathroom, she stands behind Tristan and starts making faces at him.

She runs her finger across her throat and sticks her tongue out at him, over and over again.
Eventually, Khloé looks over at Kim and Tristan and asks if they’re going to say “hi” at all.

Leave it to Khloé to be mid-labor and still attempt to break the ice.
Kim and Tristan both lean in for the world’s most uncomfortable side-hug, but at least they were civil for Khloé’s sake.

“She went to the bathroom, I don’t play,” Tristan tries to explain as Kim makes more “threatening” gestures behind his back yet again.
Part of me was expecting a FIERCE confrontation…

…but this civil approach was probably best for Khloé’s sake. Even if it would have made for good TV.
“The vibe in the room is calm, I thought there would be way more tension,” Kim mentions in a separate interview.

“As much as I want to go off, I just don’t think it’s the time. So I’m going to keep it cute, I don’t have to have a lot of interaction, I just have to be there for her,” she added.
And although there were no harsh words exchanged, anyone watching the episode can clearly tell that there’s an awkwardness in the room.
We see Kris spinning around in a chair and waving her arms in the air.

And while she might have just been very excited, it definitely felt like she was over-compensating for the mood.
Still, it’s better than a blow-out in the delivery room, that’s for sure.
In a separate clip, we see Khloé in her hospital bed the day after giving birth.

Kourtney is encouraging Khloé, who is obviously stressed about the cheating news.
She explains that it’s harder to deal with because it’s in the public eye.

“It’s a lot harder to filter through stuff when it’s this public, and when I gave birth the following day,” she explains.
I couldn’t imagine going through what Khloé has had to endure and coming out shining on the other side.

She’s a strong girl, that’s for sure!
