Kelly Clarkson, like the rest of us, is having a very busy 2020, but the reasons that her year is busy might be a little different from ours.
Unless you’re also being sued by your ex-husband’s father while going through a divorce. In that case, you and Kelly would have a lot to talk about.

Kelly has just hit back in the legal case against her.
Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock were married in 2013.
The couple, who share two children together, filed for divorce on June 4 of this year, as announced by ET , who also confirmed that Kelly had cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for filing.
Kelly is being sued for $1.4 million in unpaid commissions by Starstruck Management Group.
Starstruck Management Group, which has been Kelly’s representation for the past 13 years, is run by Narvel Blackstock, the father of Kelly’s ex-husband.
Startruck alleges that Kelly will owe an additional $5.4 million by the end of the year on top of what she has already paid and what she allegedly owes.
However, in a new petition filed by Kelly claims that Starstruck Management violated the California Labor Code.
Kelly claims that because Starstruck was “procuring, offering, promising, or attempting to procure employment or engagements” for her without first obtaining a talent agency license, all agreements between them must be “declared void and unenforceable.”
The petition also states that the lawsuit “conveniently ignores the fact that Kelly had her own licensed talent agency [Creative Artists Agency] at all times.”
The petition says that Kelly is “entitled to a full and complete accounting” from Starstruck of all money they received “directly or indirectly” from all contracts, employment or engagements pertaining to her in any way, and that money should be returned to her in full.
