Kanye West is back at it again, folks!
Although his support for President Donald Trump looked like it was wavering momentarily, he seems to be back on the MAGA bandwagon after a recent comment he made about liberals.
As I’m sure many of you already know, Kanye West has a long history of letting his political opinions candidly fly every chance he gets.
Like the time he performed on SNL , for example.
At the end of 2018, Kanye performed on “Saturday Night Live”, sporting his bright red MAGA hat.

After his performance, he flew off the rails, so to speak — ranting to the audience about why he supports the current president of the United States.
He even pledged to run for president, himself, in 2020.
“So many times I talk to a white person and [they] say, ‘How could you like Trump, he’s racist?’ Well, if I was concerned about racism I would’ve moved out of America a long time ago,” he said.

He continued — rambling on from about political conspiracies.
He claimed Democrats were responsible for a plan to take “fathers out the home and promote welfare.”
He claimed that the “SNL” staff tried to “bully” him into not wearing his MAGA hat.
“They’re laughing at me,” he said. “You heard them? They screamed at me. They bully me. They bullied me backstage. They said don’t go out there with that hat on. They bullied me backstage. They bullied me,” he said.
The surrounding SNL staff stood by, very awkwardly — as you can likely imagine.
“SNL” comedian, Pete Davidson, responded to Kanye’s speech by begging him to get back on his meds.
He described Kanye’s tangent as “one of the worst, most awkward things I’ve ever seen here. We all had to stand behind him,” he continued . “I’m on the left [his head is down in the video], and then I’m like, ‘I want a career,’ so I leave [the stage].”
Pete also confirmed that nobody tried to pressure him into not wearing his MAGA hat.

“So Kanye was wearing a ‘MAGA’ hat, and he started by saying people backstage tried to bully him into not wearing it,” he said .
“He wore it all week. Nobody told him not to wear it — I wish I would have suggested that it might upset some people, like your wife, or, like, every black person, ever.”
“Kanye, I know you’re like, ‘Yo, this is the real me, I’m off the meds,’” — which Kanye has said on two occasions. “Take ‘em! There’s no shame in the medicine game!”
“Being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jackass,” he concluded .
Donald Trump took to Twitter, as he often does, applauding Kanye West for wearing a MAGA hat, despite being urged not to.
He also claimed that he usually doesn’t watch SNL because it isn’t funny and it leans left.
Kanye kicked off 2019, reaffirming his support for Donald Trump with a string of tweets.

“Trump all day,” he wrote, along with a few dragon-emojis referencing some earlier tweets he made about how he and Donald Trump share “dragon energy,” whatever that means.
“They will not program me. Blacks are 90% Democrats. That sounds like control to me,” he went on.
“One of my favorite of many things about what the Trump hat represents to me is that people can’t tell me what to do because I’m black,” he said.
“From now on I’m performing with my [expletive] hat on,” he wrote in a separate tweet.

Anyway, after months of radio silence on the political front, Kanye is picking up where he left off.
In an upcoming episode of “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction” on Netflix, David Letterman gets an earful about why democratic supporters are “bullies.”

He passionately explained that he believes Trump supporters are “treated like enemies of America.”
“Liberals bully people who are Trump supporters!” he went on.

Reports have revealed that the topic was entirely brought up by Kanye on his own accord, without any prompting from David.
He went on, explaining that him wearing a MAGA hat is “not about politics,” but is rather, meant to make the statement that it’s okay to express a positive opinion about Trump.

David Letterman, looking wildly uncomfortable with the discussion, said something that deserved a mic-drop .
“Did you vote for Trump?” asked David. “I’ve never voted in my life,” Kanye replied.

“Then you don’t have a say in this,” he said .
And naturally, the audience cheered.
