Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori performed a stunt at the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday where the latter stood in front of the red carpet photographers in nothing but a sheer dress – really, nothing else.
Now people have been looking back at West’s previous relationships. Of course, there’s his marriage with Kim Kardashian, but following their separation he went out with actress Julia Fox, who spoke about how he used to control her outfits when they were dating.

Fox wrote about the relationship
Kanye West’s former girlfriend, actress Julia Fox, wrote about her relationship with the rapper in her 2023 memoir Down the Drain. She shared that she “regrets” the relationship with West “so much.”
She felt like a “show monkey”
The 35-year-old actress wrote that during the relationship, which only lasted two months, her wardrobe was controlled by West.
Fox said she felt like she was some sort of “prop” for him to bring out in public.
He hired a styling team
Quoting from Fox’s memoir, she says, “He appoints a team to work on my wardrobe.”
“I immediately think of an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians where he did the same thing for his estranged wife in their early stages of dating. This is all so surreal,” she adds, referencing his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
West allegedly hired her friends
Allegedly, the Gold Digger rapper had hired two of Fox’s best friends to work as her personal stylists. They would take direction from him on what she should look like at an outing prior to going out anywhere with him.
One had showed up with clothes to a date
In Fox’s book, she recalls an alleged incident where one of the stylists showed up to one of her and West’s dates with a “mountain of clothes.”
“To my surprise I find [the stylist] in the bathroom with a mountain of clothes,” she wrote.
She believed he didn’t like her outfit
“I’m happy to see her, but it’s a little strange he didn’t just tell me he didn’t like my original outfit,” Fox added of the alleged incident during a date.
The actress believed that West didn’t like her outfit and called one of the stylists to come help her change.
He apparently offered her a boob job
The actress also recalls another incident where West allegedly offered to pay for her to get a boob job because one of the outfits didn’t “fit quite right.”
She declined the offer, writing, “I look at myself in the mirror, taking in my post-baby body. They’re not so bad, I think to myself.”
Fox was asked to sign an NDA
In her memoir, Fox also claimed that she had been asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) relating to her and West’s relationship. She refused to sign it.
“I regret that relationship so much. I hate it! It was only a few weeks but enough to last me a lifetime,” the actress wrote.
Fox recalled being unhappy
“I was in probably the most uncomfortable position in my life and that’s saying a lot. I don’t want to be known for being anyone’s girlfriend,” she added of her experience with Kanye West.

The rapper and his current wife, Bianca Censori, caused a ruckus at the 2025 Grammy Awards on 2 February when Censori came in a large fur coat only to take it off in front of the cameras to show her nude body.
Many have since been wondering whose idea this might have been, and whether Censori is entirely comfortable in the marriage.
