Olivia Wilde’s lawyer also mentioned that while Sudeikis can lavishly spend on litigations to favor his cause, her client can’t. “While Jason can afford to spin his wheels with filing after filing, Olivia cannot.”
A Fresh Motion
Ted Lasso star actor filed a motion to stop a California court from ordering his children to live with Wilde in the Golden State. Sudeikis wants the children to reside with him on the East Coast.

The court hearing for Wilde and Sudeikis’ case was scheduled for Friday. Their case was to battle whether the California or New York court was best for handling their child custody case.
He’s Still Trying
The 39-year-old mother of two refers to the matter as already being settled to be in Los Angeles, but Sudeikis is “obfuscating” the case to have all future hearings in Brooklyn.

Bringing the hearing to a close, TMZ reported that victory was awarded to Olivia Wilde for the case to be held in California, not New York.

Based on evidence provided, Sudeikis’ plea to have the case moved to New York was rejected in August 2022.

Olivia Wilde stood her ground that their children had no reason to move to New York from California. Adding that they haven’t really ever lived there — their daughter Daisy never attended school there, and Otis did only one semester of Kindergarten in New York in 2019.
